3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at The Vine Street Pub and in growler brought home ($17 with the big mason jar). Pours and apricot orange with moderate head and heavy lace in a Rader chalice. Aroma of straw and floral hops, swimming pool, light malts. Medium carbonation and significant mouthfeel. Flavors of straw and floral hops, slight bath water, herbs, tangerine rind. Overall big and flavorful, while not scrumptious, tasty enough for me to buy a growler!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Vine Street. Dark amber color and a large white head that leaves a thick lace on the glass, it is a great looking beer. Flavor is surprisingly mild. I expected biting hops followed by a burn but it wasn’t there. Citrus hops flavor that is mild and finishes with dry hops and lightly sweet malt sweetness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pint at Vine St Pub. Dude, this isa serious IPA. Aroma is a blast of grapefruit to the nose with solid evergreen noted beneath. The palate is nice and resinous. Tons of bitter hops take over the flavor. There is a lot of bite, but a lot of citrus notes as well to give this character. The finish is dry and leaves lingering bitterness on the palate. Malts are clean and sturdy enough without getting in the way. This definitely well above average.
