This is a very complex beer. I think this is actually a braggot....I think that means they use half malt and honey for the fermentables. Ask the brewers, they will know. This is a really well done brew that has lemon grass and "Cannabis Hops" according to one server. It’s nice and hoppy but not as pungent as their other brews.

Why was I under the impression that this was a tangerine fruit beer? It’s cloudy and hazy orange with a creamy fine-bubbled silky tan head. You can certainly pick up the honey in the nose, only it’s more like fuzzy skinned apricots and peaches blended with honey. Flavor-wise it’s less of the honey character and a lot more of this dry marshmallow and prickly tangerine. Overall it’s wonderfully refreshing and very delicious. A little too sugared towards the end makes it likeable in small doses, but other than that I’m a fan.

Draught. Medium high creamy off-white lasting head. Hazy amber body. Sweet honey mead aroma and flavor with a nice hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Pour is hazy amber...sweet strange smell, with lots of grass and hops in there...strange...vegetal bitter finish....

tap. dense amber/orange pour with very thin soapy head. honey, apple, hop, perfume aroma. taste is a blast of freshness. ginger, honey, perfume. Flavor is sudden and perfume lingers. Honey dominant but this was not enjoyable at all.
