This is a very complex beer. I think this is actually a braggot....I think that means they use half malt and honey for the fermentables. Ask the brewers, they will know. This is a really well done brew that has lemon grass and "Cannabis Hops" according to one server. It’s nice and hoppy but not as pungent as their other brews.

Nov 2, 2008 Updated: Nov 3, 2008Why was I under the impression that this was a tangerine fruit beer? It’s cloudy and hazy orange with a creamy fine-bubbled silky tan head. You can certainly pick up the honey in the nose, only it’s more like fuzzy skinned apricots and peaches blended with honey. Flavor-wise it’s less of the honey character and a lot more of this dry marshmallow and prickly tangerine. Overall it’s wonderfully refreshing and very delicious. A little too sugared towards the end makes it likeable in small doses, but other than that I’m a fan.

Oct 23, 2008 Draught. Medium high creamy off-white lasting head. Hazy amber body. Sweet honey mead aroma and flavor with a nice hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Sep 17, 2006 tap. dense amber/orange pour with very thin soapy head. honey, apple, hop, perfume aroma. taste is a blast of freshness. ginger, honey, perfume. Flavor is sudden and perfume lingers. Honey dominant but this was not enjoyable at all.
