On tap @ Falling Rock and Mtn. Sun. Wow. The honey and lemon grass really add another demention to the IIPA style. Very good. Very citrusy. Go find this beer. It’s worth a try.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy with moderately lasting sticky lacing. Pure hop nugget mashed together with lemon, mint and a touch of honey. Flavor was not overwhelming but assertively grassy and herbal. Nothing offensive in the finish. I’d drink it again...i don’t know if it was the honey or the Bob Marley but the mood was right for this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the Mtn Sun and Southern Sun. Hazy gold/yellow pour..minimal white head. Nose is a nice blend of citrus hops and light sweet malt. Flavor is even better...the lightest double IPA I’ve ever had, but still full of flavor. Big piney hops, sweet honey malt, and a great lemon grass edge. Very refreshing and enjoyable. Wanted to take a growler home but they weren’t filling them on Sundays! Crap.

This is a nice "extreme", "double", or as the waitress termed it, "American", IPA. The lemongrass tames the bitterness of the piny hops but not the bite. What’s left is a grapefruit, apricot, and floral bouquet.

Tap. Mountain Sun and Southern Sun. A hoppy yet alcoholic IPA. This one has a citrus hop aroma complimented with an awesome smell of dry-hopping. A great bitterness finish.

I’ve been sipping this one for a while and continue to love it. It’s certainly sweeter than your typical DIPA but there’s an added complexity that I dig. Must be the crazy adjuncts they throw in...I love adventuresome brewers that pull shit off!
