Commercial Description:
A rich, creamy ale infused with a generous amount of coffee, the Porter was developed by Mountain Sun brewers weary of drinking Stout for breakfast. The result is an ale where coffee aromas mingle perfectly with a roasted barley, hop finish. A unique treat including as thick a head as you will ever get on a latte.

An opaque red-brown beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of chocolate - and so is the flavor - very nice.

Dark brown pour offering a diminishing creamy beige head. Well extracted malts propose large roastiness immediately reminding of espresso. This foreground character is paired along with gentle balancing floral hops and a most fitting grapey chewyness. Finishes on tobacco and cola notes, without any disturbing acidity and drier than sweet. Light bodied, thin, yet creamy texture, soft carbonation, very roasty and balanced at that. Probably my favorite from the Mountain Sun I’ve had.

On tap at the Southern Sun Location. Poured a dark black with red edges and a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of coffee grounds, roasted malts, and light chocolate. Tastes of cofee, lighter chocolate and burnt malts. Smooth and creamy body (I’m guessing this one was on nitro too).
