COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We took a small portion of our Double Down Brown and aged it in a freshly emptied Makers Mark Bourbon Barrel. This combination brings forth additional flavors and aromas of rich toffee, gentle oak, and light vanilla to the Double Down.

Tap @ Vine Street. Clear yet very dark burnt orange copper. Aroma is big and delightfull. Some whiskey tones, but under that there is oak, vanilla, some char, and toasty toffee. Taste is a little heavy on the whiskey booze, but again, under it is a big tone of toffee, vanilla, oak char, and sweet earthy maltiness.

taster at Mountain Sun in Boulder on 10/2/11. dark brown pour with a small off white head. big barrel / bourbon / vanilla nose. medium body with lots of bourbon, oak, vanilla, sugar and dark fruits. very smooth throughout. warming finish with barrel notes and a light bitterness followed by vanilla, nuts and malts.
