4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at the Vine August 13th.
I thought this was the first beer brewed at the Vine in Denver...hence the name. Anyway, pours yellow-gold. Aroma of saison flowers, candy sugar. Moderate carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of lemongrass, orange zest, amber malts, fresh bread, a little pepper spice and coriander. Overall very tasty with spicy saison like characteristics. I should add Iíve had this several times since this tasting and itís always a worthy brew.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Served in a snifter glass. Slightly cloudy orange-gold color. One finger of white head that dissipates in minutes to a thin cap. Minimal lacing. Very fruity and yeast-like aroma. Very sweet taste, finishing with wheat tones. Good job of masking the alcohol, very palatable.
