rmussman (695), California, USA Jul 8, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. I usually dont like fruit beers, but I was in need of a change and I actually really enjoyed this brew. It had just the proper amount of sweet and tart flavors that really complemented each other and made this a nice brew to sit back and drink. Wouldnt buy a keg of it, but as a single glass it was quite nice.
BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Aug 1, 2008 Tart raspberry nose, with some lovely fruit flavors. LIke the fact that this is made with real fruit and it really comes across on the palate. Wheaty cereal malts with some very light citrus notes and raspberry fruit. Light and refreshing. Sledge Jr (2721), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Dec 17, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a reddish gold with a pink-hued head. Fresh raspberry aroma. Strong tartness coupled with the raspberry fruitiness to the taste. Fairly quick finish, but a medium mouthfeel. Not my favorite style, but I still enjoyed it. goldtwins (3747), Nesconset, New York, USA Nov 1, 2007 Tap @ Mountain sun: Poured a hazy red color with an off-white head. Nice raspberry aroma with citrus lemon underneath. Lemony wheat flavor over a mild raspberry. Malty finish and a light body. CaptainCougar (4687), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 27, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Hazy ruby red pour has a thin ring of wispy white head. Aroma of mild fruity raspberry and bland wheat. Starts semi-sweet and semi-fruity, but overall pretty thin and bland with a touch of tartness.
