Pale golden in color with whispy white head. Straw like and Belgian yeast aroma. Slight citrus notes and light palate. Notes: Pub visit during ’09 GABF

Pored out a hazy straw gold that seemed to emit it’s own light. Smallish head. Amazing aroma for it’s style; heavy notes of citrus and sweet wheat with some tones of sea breeze. Best smelling wit I ever had. Taste was right on the money as well, with assertive tones of sweet wheat, orange juice, with a faint touch of clove. Quite refreshing and quaffable. Awesome summer brew!

On tap at the Mountain Sun brewpub. A pretty standard dry wit, with some clove and wheat flavor. Good.

tap at Mountain Sun - Pours cloudy yellow with a rich wheaty aroma that includes notes of citrus and spice. The flavor is much the same with sweet wheat malt flavors and citrus and spice notes. It’s light bodied without being watery. Solid brew.

Tap at Vine Street - a pretty good american-style wit - semi-dry, with a healthy dose of wheat and other grainy character - quite a bit of lemon and other ctirusy tang, bordering on a sourness - creamy in the mouth despite lively carbonation - unusual hop bitterness for the style, but it doesn’t distract from the refreshing, light character of the beer - pretty good.

On tap at the pub. Pours cloudy bright orange yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, citric, yeasty, a touch of bready grain. Flavor is the same, the citric comes out nicely, a bit too much though as it warms, almost a bit orange juicy, but really refreshing. Finishing a bit grainy and yeasty, still crisp citric. Light medium to medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not bad, good for a hot day.

(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, coriander, citrus, and clove. Flavor of wheat, banana, coriander, and some lemon.

draft. proper cloudy light yellow body; white head. soft wheat-focused nose with mild touches of spicy citrus and coriander. silky textured body with mild to medium acid, low bitterness and mild sweetness. silky, smooth, chewy, soft and quiet. nothing spectacular, but no glaring faults either. tastes, smells, looks and fells like a hundred other witbiers.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a mostly clear golden-yellow color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mild spices, citrus and wheat. Light body with flavors of cereal malt, spice, wheat and lemons. The finish is mildly spiced with a citrus aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Draught. Pours cloudy light yellow with an average, fizzy white head, mostly lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, cereal), light hop (herbs, citrus), average yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of banana, clove, and coriander. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a sour finish. Short duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and sourness.
