Clear black with a thin ring of beige foam around the glass. Aroma was plenty roasty and dark with a light bit of oak and a good amount of earthy peat. Flavor is smooth and mild with a nice full body, featuring roasty black malts, peat, and some sweet woody tones that also incorporates some smoke and char, on a dry slightly bitter finish.

On tap at Vine Street Pub. Pour is pitch black with a small brown head and good lacing. Big coffee, chocolate, somewhat earthy, light spiced rum notes, smoke, vanilla, and big wood in the aroma. Nice! Taste is roasty, dark chocolate - smooth and balanced - big oak, earth, grass, toffee, and caramel with a roasted espresso finish with big cocoa & coffee in the aftertaste. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Really nice stuff and so damn smooth - definitely the highlight of the night. Well-done!

At southern sun. pours a dark brown with a finger of tan head. Good retention and plenty of lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, dark malt, roasted oat, chocolate. Flavor is sweet up front, fruity, fading into roasted malt, roasted oats, slight chocolate. Didnt get much rum flavor. Soft carbonation, medium, and smooth carbonation. A tasty stout.
