Sampled at the brewhouse. A very very full bodied stout. Thin lacey head. Strong barley malts but goes down smooth.

This was an extremely nice beer to drink. Full bodied and very much on the big and rich side, creamy mouthfeel with lots of malt ball and chocolate creme maltiness. Burnt bread crumbs, and a bit of roasted coffee come through as well, this would have been just fine being this malty, but the piney hops kind of throw it out of balance in the finish in my opinion. Still lovely to drink.

Draft at brewery. Body-opaque with a very thick ring of bubbles. Nose-lightly soured milk, light coffee, toffee. Taste-light sweetened coffee, very low hop presence, piney, lightly grassy, kind of soft mouthfeel, light unsweet Dr. Pepper, toothpicks, soft finish., Quite enjoyable stout.

Black with tan head. Aroma of dark malt an coffee. Flavor of very dark coffee and also chocolate malt - like a very dark and heavy robust porter.
