Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 24, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet candy-like aroma. Light in body with vague malty accents and a completely absent bitterness. 220608 yespr (7843), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 2, 2008 12 fl oz bottle, trade with lck5023 - thanks Laura! Pours clear yellow and with a lacing white head. Mild citrusy and slight cardboardish dry aroma. Flavour is mild fruity towards sweet cornish. Subdued caramel note. Ends mild fruity and vague bitter. Goes dry into the far finish. hopscotch (4679), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Apr 1, 2006 Draft... Clear, yellow lager with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma and flavor are grainy with notes of damp barley malt (mash). The flavor is well-balanced, but thin and somewhat bland. The graininess becomes irksome. Light-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter. Not a good "first experience" with this local brewery. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet peachy aroma with caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavor with caramel malty notes. Ends sweet. tjthresh (1350), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Jul 23, 2008 Looks like water with yellow food coloring added. The aroma is cidery, buttery, and caramel corn. It tastes like somebody boiled some corna and bottled the water. I can’t comment on the palate, because the awful flavor was too distracting. Really, find a different beer for you WV tick.
