2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rated on 5-30-2009 (Bottle) When poured, this beer forms a small white head, no visible carbonation, body has a golden hue, and very little lacing. The Aroma is malty, floral and citrus hops. Ditto for the Taste. The Palate is lightly tingly and this beer is light-medium bodied. In conclusion, this beer’s flavors were rather bland tasting and there is no WOW factor to this beer. Therefore, it did not leave me wanting this beer again.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer appears transparent and light in orange in color. The head is approximately a half inch thick and leaves some decent lacing in its wake. The aroma has a subtle hop presence with a strange scent emanating from the beer. Uh oh. The flavor is mediocre, with very muted hop and citrus. Overall the beer just tastes a bit off kilter. The finish is rather dry, and leaves an unpleasant vegetal taste on the palate. Not my bag, baby.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle courtesy of GT2, pours a hazy faded golden/orange with a thin white head. Oddly enough the aroma at first sniff smells like macaroni and cheese, rather musky citrus, caramel, and pine. Taste has some caramel and fruits, lots of cardboard box. Drinkable due its blandness. It’s true "West Virgina does deserve better beer."

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Big thanks to GT2 for this one in trade. Cheers, GT! Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose is caramel, floral hops, banana, and sweetness with hints of yeast. Flavor is similar- very sweet and floral with bananas and light fruit with hints of a metallic twinge. Light to medium in body and very sweet for a pale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355mL thanks to Travlr. Poured a clear yellow to pale gold with a medium, eggshell head. Small lace. Sweet pineapple nose with lemon. Taste is very metallic with some heavy duty "sting" with mild astringency and heavy carbonation and mild citric punch. Very dry with candy corn and cereal body. Thin mouthfeel. Much better than being a sticky sweet mess or cheesy hop bomb. Palatable and inoffensive.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light golden with half inch head white head. Low carbonation, light body, some lacing, aroma is soapy sour off. Taste is sour off grapefruit, some graininess and finishes light bitter. Either this bottle is old or this beer sucks.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle picked up at Total Wine in Alexandria. Served in a Bruery tulip.
Pours a moderate copper color with a thin white head that dissipates too quickly and leaves behind only a tad bit of lacing. The nose is faintly reminiscent of the fact that at one point someone might have considered adding a hop cone or two to it. In honesty, there is a very, very, very (enough of those) faint presence of light citrus and herbal hops. Malt is there in a bready form, not really lending anything on its own. The taste echoes the nose, and not in a good way. Finish is ever so slightly dry with moderate carbonation. Not something I would have again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle via trade. Clear golden color with a nice foamy white head and old lacing. Decent aroma, floral and citrusy hop notes with maybe a bit of pineapple. The flavor is somewhat hoppy with just a bit of pale malt and some citrusy hops, along with a bit of butter. Medium-light bodied and a bit airy with softer carbonation. Pretty average, with nothing bad but nothing too good really.
