Commercial Description:
Classic dry Irish. This stout is made from highly roasted malts used for color. Oats are also added for an extra creamy mouth feel. With coffee and chocolate aromas, this ale is very flavorful, but don't be fooled by the color, dry Irish stouts are always light in body.

12 oz bottle. Pours black as 3 o’clock in the morning, thin non-persistent tan head. Aroma lightly of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is great malty balls of fire! Roasted malt (primarily) and caramel malt really grab the attention! A definite hint of smoked malt, and everything that is good in the world. A robust stout, to be sure!

Pours espresso black. Nearly no head, but whats there is a light brown. Aroma is malt. Mostly coffee, slightly sweet. Flavor is pretty strong. LOTS of cofee, lots of chocolate flavor too. Wow. Strong but Smooth too.

Not great, but not bad. Fairly well balanced and plain. Sticks true to the flavor of an oatmeal stout. I wouldn’t turn this one down

Sweet coffeeish smell, creamy thick chocolately taste, very dark alsmot completely black with whittish head. Pretty good, but not dry enough to be a dry stout.

Ron put together an extremely nice tasting and this was the dessert. Thanks Ron!!! Very very dark, slightly red highlights. This is labeled dry stout, but I didn’t find it that dry. Oily palate, nutty, crackers, peanut butter in palate, well balanced and gritty. Aroma of chocolate and toasted notes.
