Beer was served in a nice worn ceramic Mousel mug. Huge fluffy white head with a floral nose with some lemon notes. Taste is more of the same with some floral and herbal tastes as well. Citrus tones and a slight bitterness on the back end. Easy drinking beer and it paired well with my meat and frites. shrubber85 (3019), Wallhalben, Germany

Cloudy pale yellow color with large white head. Clean, crisp barley malt flavor with moderate carbonation with subtle lemon flavor and light sweetness. More subtle than its German counterparts but nicely drinkable - goes down smooth. Wish this were more widely available as it is a joy to drink. thebeertourist (2870), Oslo, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Served in stein from the brewery tap, Cantine Mousel, Luxembourg. Solid foam. Grassy aroma on a sweet malty base. Flavours are predominantly sweet, yet still balanced. Good carbonation, medium body. All in all, an agreeable enough kellerbier. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 11, 2007 Draught Served in "Stein"; huge dense white head. Yeasty nose, quite spicey (root spices, nutmeg). Again spicey-yeasty flavours and a lot of sweet malts, even a bit lightly coloured malts. A bit, even when sparse, meaty esters. Very creamy MF, yeast filling in. A very unusual Pilsner, well worth seeking out. A personal lager favourite since years. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2004 I walked a long way to Café Beim Zeutzius in Cents to taste this beer. Unfortunately they were closed this day just as the other place where they have it. I was leaving the country some hours later so I was not happy. Luckily a kitchen lady came out from the café and I managed to persuade her to pour me a glass. She did not know how to handle the taps so my glass was 60% foam when I got it. She left and I sat alone outside the café enjoying this rare treat. Hazy golden coloured with a creamy and big head. Fruity and malty aroma with some yeasty notes. The flavour is sweet, malty and fruity again with a yeasty touch. Very soft mouthfeel. Too bad it is not more widely available. This is so much better than the normal Mousel crap. marcusm (50), Remich, Luxembourg
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 20, 2004 This is a rare beer only available in two outlets as far as I know, and only on draught. The beer is always served in a 0.5l stein, but always comes with an impressive bright white head, the aroma is of loads of Saaz hops. The beer does have a light gold colour but as you would expect slightly hazy. The taste is of well rounded pale malts with a small amount of hopping bringing up the rear, but to balance the malt there is a subtle citrus character, which is what makes this beer so good in summer. The finish is clean with no stickininess as associated with the other Mousel products. All in all one of my favourite beers of all time.
