Draft sample at the MTS Centre before a Jets game. Pale amber in colour with strong carbonation. Muted aroma of pale malt, caramel, and wet stones. Bland but fairly clean flavors of butter caramel and minerals dominate. Thin bodied. Barely better than your typical Canadian macro.

[6351-20140529] Tap. Malty bread aroma. Clear, red brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Sweet yeasty malt continues in the flavour with a lingering aftertaste. Medium body. Average. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

On tap at Moxie's (shudder). Slightly better than expected though. Pretty classic amber with caramel malt notes and some light citrus hops. Mostly average mouthfeel with a little too much carbonation. Very drinkable and tastes fine. Just a boring amber.

14oz draft at Moxies. Clear filtered, moderate head, good amber colour. Weak aroma, but nice. Taste was sweet malts. Body a bit thin. Overall, fairly generic and inoffensive. I liked the Big Life Euro Lager more.

Pint on tap at Moxie’s was pale amber in color with moderate white head and thin lacing. Aromas of grains and light caramel. Taste is light malty sweetness and some mild hopping in the finish. Nice carbonation and light to medium body give a nice mouthfeel. A decent beer for the style.

Tried on my first visit to Moxie’s, right before seeing Tron 3D at the theatre. Pours a clean amber colour with a shot lasting head, but good lacing and a 1mm coat over the brew. The smell is of grainy malt, and after breathing a bit, honey comes out of it. Nice grainy taste with very mild caramel. Smooth mouthfeel and quite refreshing. Does what it has to do: Please a mass market, but still a notch better over mass beers.
