1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Atheist_Peace (738) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JAN 9, 2013
On tap at the Henry House out of morbid curiosity. I’m floored that this shite has such a relatively high rating. Pours the colour of fresh urine with minimal white head. Smells of rotting apple juice and wet hay. Tastes like rusting aluminum and sweet hay. Decidedly vile.

En fût au Moxie’s. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche. Arôme de grains et houblon...un peu tchèque. En bouche, grains et herbes. Finale un peu amère et malt. Pas mal bonne.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 HeistAlmighty (850) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - NOV 20, 2011
I had this as a draft at Moxie’s in Halifax, but Henry House claimed to have it on tap, too. Faint malted grain aroma. Golden lager colour body that was completely clear. Ample white head with tight bubbles. Surprising amount of lacing for a lager. Taste is sweet malt, a light sourness with some cereal on the finish. Crisp, light body. Overall, much better than a typical macro lager. I’d recommend trying it if you happen to find yourself at Moxie’s

Pint on tap at Moxie’s was a pale golden color with moderate white head and spots of lacing. Aromas of grain and grass. Taste is light malty sweetness and a cheap hoppy finish. An average lager, very similar to the macros with a slightly cleaner finish.

Tried on my first visit to Moxie’s, right before seeing Tron 3D at the theatre. Pours a clean golden colour with a small head and a bit of lacing. The scent is of sweet malt and this reflects on the taste, which is sweet with a grain flavour. This has a mild pilsner-like aftertaste with I like. Nice to see a smaller brewery making beer for a chain restaurant (instead of the big macros).
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - JAN 30, 2011
Pours golden yellow. Dull skunky aroma. Clean and crisp. Slightly hopy. And floral very nice lager. I’m impressed.

On tap at Moxies North Edmonton. 5%. Clear, golden yellow pour with a hefty white head with staying power. Aroma is inoffensive, mild hops. Taste is mildly hoppy, grassy, mild sweet malts. Clean mouthfeel, smooth finish. Plain jane European style lager/pilsner that delivers an inoffensive tasting offering. Nothing exciting here.

on tap at moxie’s in guelph on (stone road mall). clear yellow with minimal carbonation. small aroma of pale malt and light hopping. bacis all malt lager with a touch of bittering hops. not bad for a pale lager exclusively brewed for a chain of restaurants by a macro brewer. id have it again.
