Mellow and refreshing with a slight dryness and crisp hoppiness. This California Golden Ale is the perfect “session” beer, an excellent ale that compliments all occasions.

Draft - Intense citrus, almost cleaner like . Clearish gold with a small white head. Big citrus lemon and some sweetness and very artificial tasting.

Keg at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp sweet malt, light yeast, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. When cold it was dry and crisp but the flavours only really came through when it warmed up. I preferred it warm I must say, but we Brits are famed for drinking warm beer! It’s in the genes.

Draft at source. Lightly grainy nose with not much else. Very clear pale yellow with small white head. Taste is just a bland grainy malt flavor. Boring.

Leighton (16281) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2016
Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Lightly bready aroma with hints of minerals and citrus. Light sweet flavor with hints of butter, doughy white bread, lemon rind, meringue. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, more dough, faint bitter hay. So so.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear gold pour with thin foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, fruity floral hop. Taste is sweet, grainy, honey. Palate is light, a tad watery. Not bad, but pretty boring. Could use a bit of hote.

Draught at London Pub, Vancouver; 10oz
Cloudy dark blond color. Aroma and flavor are lightly bready; light yeast aroma too; relatively low bitterness.
Clean ale, nicely drinkable, but too simple.

It pours golden with a white head. Grainy, slightly doughy. This is old, hops are skunked. Not missing much though.
