2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A decent golden. Pours an ugly yellow, but smells fruity and wheaty. Taste is the same. Had on tap at the brewery.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear light gold with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty and cereal-ish with a little peppery tone. Unfortunately the flavor is watery and bland. Really bland and faintly blonde. Kinda flavorless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is yeast, grainy malts and a unique nuttiness, possibly pecans. The flavor is malts, mild to medium sweetness, underlying nuttiness and citrus hops in the finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Firesale draft at FS FW. Kinda like expected for a golden ale. Sessionable. Not boring but nothing special. Refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pretty easy going. Malt is nice, a bit of odd nuttiness and a dash of metal. Little to offend here...but little to impress. Every brew-pub has to brew up something for the coors-light masses, and on that scale, this is pretty good. Compared to the rest of their offerings, this is not a strong contender.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is a bit earthy with crystal malt notes. Golden in color (surprise!). Nothing to set this apart from other golden ales.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Location: 22 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 8/1/11
Aroma: The nose is cereal, yeast, spice, lemongrass, and some light fruity notes
Appearance: It pours a clearish golden-orange color with a small whitish head to it
Flavor: Tastes somewhat sweet and malty up-front with a light grass/floral hop bitterness
Palate: The body is overly fizzy/carbonated, it drinks fairly lightly, with an OK mouthfeel
This is a fairly unexciting beer. It isn’t really good or bad, it just kind of it. I don’t think I’ll find myself rushing out for another bomber of this stuff anytime soon.
