Draft at the brewery, served in a flight. Pours a clear flat-looking gold with no head. Notes of straw, pale and crackery malts, a bit of fruit- just not much to say about this one. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a little bit of a malty mouthfeel. Decent golde, but so little to it.

Keg at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp sweet malt, light yeast, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. When cold it was dry and crisp but the flavours only really came through when it warmed up. I preferred it warm I must say, but we Brits are famed for drinking warm beer! It’s in the genes.

Draft at source. Lightly grainy nose with not much else. Very clear pale yellow with small white head. Taste is just a bland grainy malt flavor. Boring.
