argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Jul 2, 2003 Head comes out of bottle before the pour, and is an off-white monstrosity -- ~5% of the glass is clear straw liquid and the rest is off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, lemongrass, yeasty, mild fruity. Taste is sweet up front, lemon, tangy, minimal hoppy (grassy). Light body, high carbonation, dry finish. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England May 29, 2004 Tap, Moylans Brewery. Too fizzy for a start, grainy sweet malt and some lemon tang, too thin. Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 27, 2005 Updated: Nov 13, 2006I’d like this more if it wasn’t so flat, the carbonation being cried out for to liven it up. Looks nice initially, deep gold with a creamy head, which soon vanishes. The aroma is sweet malts, pomes, and earthy hops. The flavor is lightly malty with some fruity sweetness, and it finishes on an earthy, soil-like hop bitterness. Why "Celts"?

Liquorama.net, Upland, CA
JPDIPSO (4345), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 29, 2007 LIghtly hazed, light straw colored liquid. Somewhat billowy white head. Head looks sudsy and artificial. Very pale malt and grassy hops in the aroma. A touch grain and citric as well. There are parts that I like and parts that just don’t fit. Very light flavors of stale pale malt and honey. Tastes of glazed donuts that are a couple days old. Finish has a nice light honey component. Sort of watery from the lack of depth. Not much more than a pale lager brewed with an ale yeast. Simple stuff. DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 21, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. Turbid deep gold pour with aroma of corn flakes, slight honey, hopcit, and some bready notes. Tastes corn flakey, crisp and clean, with some hopcitric and bready notes. Very quaffable.
