COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a rich, robust porter, cleverly crafted to integrate the aromas and flavors of espresso coffee malt and bitter-sweet chocolate malt. Inspired by owner Brendan Moylansí daughter Chelsea, this is an American-Irish Style Porter that dark beer drinkers will love

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear moderately dark brown body under a thin fizzy light brown head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is pretty chocolaty with some lighter coffee, roast, and a bit of hoppiness. The flavor is a bit on the weak side for me though. Thereís not a whole lot of depth to it. Itís like a cross between a porter and an Irish Stout, given the roastiness that comes out in the flavor. Light bodied and a little too watery in texture for my tastes. Itís not horrible or anything, just a little weak.

A very good porter. A pleasing sour note upfront gives way to a roasted coffee middle with a long bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 Aroma is espresso/chocolate and an underlying coffee bitterness. The flavor is malts, coffee/espresso, some chocolate and an acidity/tartness in finish. The mix of chocolate and espresso in this worked very well in the flavor.

Really nice smooth porter. A very enjoyable brew that is carbonated with good malts. Nice roasty flavor. Quality.

Bottle thanks to fata2683: Poured a black with tan head. Aroma is a gritty chocolate. Taste thin with grain and chocolate. Leave a dry dirty finish.

Dark brown/black color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of malt, milk chocolate, & coffee; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, chocolate, caramel, some hops, and coffee; No real bitterness; Nicely balanced; Tasty overall - pretty decent.

22-oz Bottle. Not much head but starts dirty-sandy foamy mostly dissolving in a minute with lacing that covers for a second but rusn too thin to be impressive over a coffee-colored, translucent body. Aroma is mainly roasted coffee but has notes of sweet chocolate and toffee and sugary malt. Taste is mildly sweet. Finish is mildly bitter. Effect is chocolate. Palate is a bit thin and light-bodied but refreshing with so many heavy beers out. Overall, very well-balanced and worthy of session and casual sharing - what a porter should be.

Dark with a tan head. Tons of chocolate and coffee flavor along with a thick palate. A good porter which compares favorably with their Imperial Stout.

On tap at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Looked pretty good upon pour. Very dark brown in color. Nutty flavor, but very thin bodied. Just left a little too much to be desired. I actually bumped up the rating 0.1 because I have a daughter named Chelsea.

Black pour with massive very dense sustainable light tan head. A little tart lactic acid nose. Roast and hints of coffee with more lactose it seems like. Reminds me of a homebrew quality I come across sometimes. Bitter dry finish. Maybe Iím just not digging this style. I do love dark beers, but this one isnít for me.
