COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This strong Moylan's brew is what keeps those Irish eyes a smiling. Its deep amber radiance has been described by our brewer as the most visually enticing beer. This ale's rich malty flavor, full body, invigorating aroma, and expansive finish empower it to be extremely satisfying and repeatedly enjoyed. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are allied to provide the 1.070 beginning specific gravity, while Fuggle and Liberty hops balance this sweetness. A classic rich and malty ale from Ireland. Unlike most "want-to-be" red ales, Moylan's red has a rich caramel character balanced with a low hop profile.

On draught at Shade Tree Cycle - ABQ. Clear deep amber. Or with lasting white head. No big aromas but light-to-medium body with early malty flavor balance then dry finish. Clean hops and malt make for a nice easy-drinking ale.

22 oz bottle- Aroma was light as well the initial drink but then hits you with some citrus from the hops. Medium body of malts flavors and mouth-feel with a nice bittering feel and flavoring that lasts afterwards, but not where it’s a bad bittering aftertaste. Off orange color with white head.

Fantástica "Red Ale" se não a melhor neste estilo, o retrogosto de caramelo é mais equilibrado que o comum, possui uma excelente carbonatação e um corpo incrível quase que cremoso.

Bottle. Hazy to unclear hazelnut red brown with a medium sized diminishing off white head. Grain, crackers, raisins, caramel, dark berries, light herbal/flowery hop notes. Medium body, oily texture but the finish is a bit thin. Light/medium sweet and bitter. Pretty easy drinking malt focused brew, but I don’t find it overly interesting.

On tap @ Moylans. Amber/orange pour with an off-white head. The nose is sweet caramel, earthy hops, and toffee. Kind of watery, though. Some light esters. Flavor is just kind of sweet. Watery mouthfeel. Earthy hops provide light bitterness. Caramel, toffee, and grass. A fair amount of apple, too.

Moylan’s Danny’s Irish Style Red Ale has a very thick, foamy, cream-colored head, and a fairly hazy, extremely effervescent, amber appearance, with exceptionally heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweetness, some sort of citrus, and brown bread crust. Taste is of that unusual citrus (white grape juice?), brown bread crust, a bit of tea, sweetness, and low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Moylan’s Danny’s Irish Style Red Ale finishes mellow and easy drinking. I highly recommend this one! RJT

This beer is golden with a slight amber undertone. It has a mil malty aroma. It is very smooth and easy to drink. A crisp clean aftertaste. Much more mild than your average red ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
