COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This strong Moylan's brew is what keeps those Irish eyes a smiling. Its deep amber radiance has been described by our brewer as the most visually enticing beer. This ale's rich malty flavor, full body, invigorating aroma, and expansive finish empower it to be extremely satisfying and repeatedly enjoyed. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are allied to provide the 1.070 beginning specific gravity, while Fuggle and Liberty hops balance this sweetness. A classic rich and malty ale from Ireland. Unlike most "want-to-be" red ales, Moylan's red has a rich caramel character balanced with a low hop profile.

Poured an orangish-red with almost no head. While being very malty, this is not my favorite Moylans brew. However, it is the best Irish Red I’ve had. Some citrus bitter taste at the end.

Great malty aroma. Starts slightly sweet, finishes slightly bitter. Not a bad beer at all.

~Moderate malt aroma, some tartness, slightly roasty, woodsy and musty. ~Pours a hazy red color with small off white head. ~Caramel malt flavor, buttered toast, roasty grainy. ~Med body, med CO2. Slight alcohol warmth, woodsy finish. ~intereseting brew. Lots of different rustic flaviors. Musty, woodsy. Different. I liked it.

22oz bottle from BevMo O’Side. Pours a cark orange color with a crisp head that fades quick and leaves minimal lace. Smells of sweet caramelly malts and grainy, nuttiness. Tastes sweet and malty and nutty. I am finding that alot of their malty beers taste nutty to me, like peanuts or PB. Anyway, very tasty and not as nutty as some of their other brews. Medium body, with active and crispo carbonation.

22oz. bottle. Dirty orange when poured. Light caramel/roast aroma. Malty taste with caramel and some acidic, fruity flavors. Bit of grapefruit in there. Finishes a bit sweet with a malty finish...a tiny bitter hoppy bite too. Very solid brew, very drinkable. 6.5% alcohol.

Indistinguishable from all of the other reds out there. Not bad, not great. Average.

Has a strong bready, malty aroma. Beautiful copper/red color to it. Has a nice balanced malty flavor to it, I didn’t think it was all that bad.

Clear brown pour with a red tint. Thin bubbly head. Slight chocolate cocoa aroma, yeasty with a touch of bourbon and oak. There was a little bit of an unpleasant pungent aroma present. Intense chocolate pudding flavor. Bitter roast aftertaste with some cream. Slight bit of skunkiness to it. Not bad.
