bottle - I see a couple other reviews mentioning the same problem I had, so here goes... this stout pours near black with a light tan head. There’s a mild coffee malt aroma. The flavor is sour and roasted with a little coffee. It’s thin and tastes off. That sourness is just not right. I’d say there’s an infection problem here. Fortunately not many reviewers seem to be having this issue, but it’s worth noting. Disappointing.

Pours a dark brown with a frothy tan head leaving good lacing. The aroma is a roasted malt with charcoal and coffee. Thin mouthfeel with lots of roasted coffee and dry finish. Yea, it’s the style, but I like all other stout styles above dry.

22oz bottle. Rating #336. Very dark brown, almost black, pour with a nice chocolate brown head. Light roast and chocolate aroma with a bit of toast in the finish. Kind of an odd flavor, seems a bit off, a little tangy with some bitter chocolate. (2215)
