Draft at Moylan’s. Slight haze copper orange golden with sticky head/lacing. Aggressive bitter piney astringent hop forward, some peach fruitiness, also earthy tones and noticable, but faint, malt bill that adds a touch of sweetness to balance the hops. Very bitter up front, astringent, some malt sweetness comes in in the mid palate but finishes with enamel ripping bitterness.

650ml waxed top bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and pine with some caramel and grainy notes. Taste is a pine and grapefruit hop bitterness with a light fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. A very nicely done brew that I recommend highly to others.

Quadruple IPA you say...

Well this is indeed a bitter bastard with an unholy amount of resin and a bullet of citrus between the eyes... Yet it actually has some semblance of balance with lots of barley and faint caramel. A bit peppery and at 10.4% ABV as slight bite but hardly offensive nor inappropriate. A sipper sure but I sort am digging this. Beats the crap outta some Tripel IPA’s I know of. This is also unlike those 3xIPA’s not a young barleywine but a real IPA that will likely not be any good once the hop oils breakdown.

Bottle from Darby’s Liquor, Vancouver
No dating on the bottle. The cap is waxed, not difficult to remove, but I would gladly save 1$ and do without wax. It has a beautiful hazy golden color with medium sized head. The aroma is rich with undeniable hop quality, very piney, a bit citrusy and skunky, a hint of cedar wood. Lean body, moderately sweet, hence highly drinkable, also because the alcohol is just a warning feeling; perfect malt canvas, lightly biscuity, and then the hopping appears with piney resins and sweet orange peel, moderately fruity too. Long pleasant final.
Excellent beer, but too expensive.

Draft at Judges Bench. Clear deep amber color, white head. Aroma of huge pine and citrus. Taste is bitter pine resin. Lots of flavor here, but lots of alcohol too.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served showing some bottom of the barrel haze to the orangey gold color, with highly frothy, soft white foam, and clingy, wavy spray to the lacing. The nose was especially dank & resinous, with some secondary pit fruit & citrus, and a touch of malty sweetness. The taste was similar notes, and medium+ bodied, with alcohol that was aggressive, and intermingled well with a heavy hop influence that was resin & rind, strong, lingering, & dry finishing. Quite potent.

Draft. This just didn’t do it for me. Very malty nose. The flavor is nice tons of hops and toms of malt, boozy, perfumey just took over the top though.

Crazy hopped up beer. Really interesting ipa with serious hops and a kick in the balls.
