Clear light yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of malts, grain and hops. Taste of malts, sweet corn and slightly hoppy finish. Fizzy carbonation and light bodied. Just ok.

Pours a straw yellow color. Lots of bubbles to it. Good and fizzy. Little hop aroma and a touch of it in the taste too. Otherwise a classy pilsner. Another good option from Moylan’s.

This poured a darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was buttered popcorn, light pils grain, som stale dusty hops. Flavor seemed stale overall, I think this was a bit old, and some noticeable diacytl too. Bleh.

Tap at Moylans. Clear light yellow pour with a small white head. Crisp grain and bready, a nice example of the style.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Med body. Flavor is crisply bready. Hop is noble, but this isn’t imperial by a long shot. A very nice drink that won’t interfere with food. Finishes pleasant. Considering the fairly low hop level I was surprised to find myself enjoying it and drinking it all.

A golden pils with a thin white head. A very chalkey and german hops in aroma, veering on commercial lager. In mouth, chalkey crisp malt, similar to a can of German lager. Medium bodied. On tap at Russian River Beer and BBQ Revival, August 15 2009.

On tap at the Pizza Port Session Ale Fest. Pours with a bit of a chill hazed yellow body and a fading white head. Aroma has a bit of diacetyl, fruit, bread and grass. Taste is fruity, bready and crisp. Good. Fizzy and dry.

on tap at papago... hazy gold pour with fluffy white head. smells like sweetened hand soap, pils grain, earth and lemon zest. the flavor is similar... awfully sweet for a pils and lacking a bitter crispness i so love in the style. it does finish a bit dry but it tastes a little dirty or muddled. the body is medium while the texture is a touch oily and thick since it lacks the usual crisp character. 6/4/5/3/13/3.1
