Pours amber with a fading head. Nose shows big citrus fruit with orange marmalade and tangerine alongside soft pine and resinous hops. Also some clean malt and soft booze. Very aggressive flavours. Massive pine and grapefruit with just a little malt underneath. Very sharp bitterness in the finish mixing with the booze. Almost harsh. Nice moderate carbonation.

A - Semi hazy copper orange with a 1 finger white head. S - Pungent citrus hops. Bursting with fruit aroma. I can actually smell some caramel malt and bready yeast in the background. T - Resiny grapefruit rind galore. Pine oil as well as herbal hops show up in the middle and stay well into the aftertaste. The hops provide mostly citrus flavors and are quite salty and acidic. The caramel malt stands up pretty well with the brigade of hops. Peppery alcohol on the finish. M - Heavy carbonation provides a medium body. Bigtime hops! This stands up to the name. A hop heads dream come true. A solid DIPA. Huge hop profile. It runs the gament. Serving type: bottle 02-20-2011

A good DIPA but not an excellent one. Quite hoppy and sweet, maybe a little too much lingering bitterness for my liking.

Piney, grassy and very bitter. There is some malty sweetness that breaks through the hops but it is a little unbalanced on bitter side. Still an awesome IPA though.

Bottle. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of floral, citrus and piny hops, some malt and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and bitter with some pine, mint, citrus and malt sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle, 22oz. It’s a more or less clear one, dark golden in color and topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacings. Pine cones and resins dominates the aroma, with some maltyness in the background. A faint touch of alcohol blends in. It’s pretty bitter on the palate, with lots of green pine cones and resins on a backdrop of maltyness. Full body with some warmth and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting bitter finish. A really nice one, although a tad too bitter. Unbalanced that is. 130420

Bottle 650ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a very bitter and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
