Bottle. Pours a deeper orange gold with a small but suprsingly long lasting head. Nose is hops and grapefruit. Flavor is very nicely balanced with malt to offset the hop barage. Full bodied, with a lovely soft mouthfeel and not offensively bitter at all. I enjoyed this one alot.

Veeery nice. Floral hoppy aroma. Full body does well to balance out the assault of citrus and pine hops in the finish.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2012 22 oz. bottle - Pours an amber color with a thin film of a head. Light carbonation. Has a pungent, floral aroma. The flavor is sweet with some citrus hop flavoring to go along. Has a slight lingering bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Alcohol is noticeable. A good beer.

Had the wet version today. Very nice. Lots of fruit and hops. Just a slight bit astringent. Good stuff.

Sampled at a recent Champaign-Urbana Beer Club meeting. This was the top beer of the night for me. Poured a deep amber with a weak off-white head. Visually not very enticing but let the aroma grab you. HUGE grapefruit nose sings lead with backup provided by caramel, pine, flowers, and herbs. Medium bodied with a smooth and slightly tingly mouthfeel. The flavor was a rush of hops, citrusy bitterness cut with a touch of sweetness. This was very impressive and one I’d like to get my hands on more frequently.

This is good. HUGE piney aroma that even overwhelms the taste. It’s almost like there’s a hop sitting at the bottom of the bottle. Alcohol well-hidden. This is a truly "unbalanced" IIPA, but unbalanced in a good way. Not citrusy like a Stone, but piney, it’s like drinking an evergreen.

Wildly hoppy nose, opaque orange, tiny custard head. Full on west coast hops flavour. Full bodied, hoppy, bitter as can be. Terrific! Thanks HogTownHarry!

Strong, bitter beer with smooth citrus taste to aid in its consuption. Not the most balanced beer I’ve ever tasted but a delight to enjoy. A solid effort from this brewery that I know little about

Pours a dark amber clear enough to see laces of carbonated bubbles coming to the top that leaves a thick white lace that is frothy and sticky. The smell is pine, citrus, lemon and lime, grapefruit, honey, and grass. The taste is extremely bitter upfront with a honey sweetness but it is far from balanced. This is a hop bomb fantasticly bitter, although one-sided still very enjoyable and finishes with a musty, grass, bitterness.

Can , nah just being funny. After pour noticed slight haze, white snowy top. Aroma highly accented with strong hop presence, refreshing I should add, good set of hops, mango, and fruity nose. Palate was acidic, hoppy, earthy up front, more of bitter in the middle, earthy bitter finish. Plenty of hops around here. Did I mention that was very hoppy?

Bottle. Pours an orange-brown body with a small white head. The aroma is concentrated orange oil AND pure pine juice...also some yeast and essentially quite floral. Flavour profile is quite sharp and piney - some sweet malt but it really takes the back seat to the juicy hops. Alcohol is well hidden and it makes this reasonably drinkable. A beer best drunk in small doses...
