4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap in HoS Durham, poured nice apricot colour, thick creamy head. The aroma is absolutely outstanding, there’s like every goodie in the nose. Sweet fruits, jar of marmalade with nicely balanced hoppes. Taste is quite intensive, though very enjoyable, this satisfying bitternes and so well balanced body. Great imperial ipa! Love it!

Bottle from beer junction. Average head and combination. Amber color. A hop bit e right on the first sip. However really balanced. As with all triple IPAs it's not for everyone.

Smells wonderfully fruity and has a cold gold color with a foamy head. The flavor is a lasting bitter lip Puckering hop citrus.

On tap at industry. Pours a cloudy orange brown with a slight white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Taste is bitter and caramel-like. Not at it's best I am assuming.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 5-06-2011 (Bottle) This beer has a medium sized ivory head that has a short retention, transparent gold body, fizzy carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, citrus hops and fruity. The taste is bitter, malty, citrus, grapefruit, and has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is not overly hoppy tasting for the style which is surprising. It is worth trying and a beer I would drink again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served, showing a cloudy, orangey amber color, with a thin layer of soft white head froth, and good cling to spiraling lacing above the diminishing head. The nose offered just a touch of sweetness, then ruby grapefruit, and a touch of pine on the back. Medium bodied, with average carbonation, the taste was citrus, some resinous notes, and a bit of soapiness, blurred by very astringent, almost biting hop bitterness, with lingering, dry, & earthy notes. I would have appreciated at least a little malt sweetness to temper this a bit, but still appreciate a good hop sting.

Citrus aroma with some caramel and grapefruit. Single finger head sits on top of a hazy orange pour. Watery mouth. Taste is very bitter and full of pine. Lingering bitterness on this one. Big simcoe aroma.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney, fruity hoppy aroma, slightly sweaty, resinous, hints of orange, mandarine, juniper berry, caramel malty backbone, hints of orange biscuit. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, citrusy fruity, piney, notes of lemon, orange, lemon zest, a mineral and chalky touch. Wooooaaah! Bitter, crisp, perfectly hidden alcohol, malt basis works perfectly as a pedestal for the exposition of hop glory.
