Shared this one @ The Hoppy Pub. Bitter, malty, hoppy dry aftertaste. Very nice beer.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served, showing a cloudy, orangey amber color, with a thin layer of soft white head froth, and good cling to spiraling lacing above the diminishing head. The nose offered just a touch of sweetness, then ruby grapefruit, and a touch of pine on the back. Medium bodied, with average carbonation, the taste was citrus, some resinous notes, and a bit of soapiness, blurred by very astringent, almost biting hop bitterness, with lingering, dry, & earthy notes. I would have appreciated at least a little malt sweetness to temper this a bit, but still appreciate a good hop sting.

Citrus aroma with some caramel and grapefruit. Single finger head sits on top of a hazy orange pour. Watery mouth. Taste is very bitter and full of pine. Lingering bitterness on this one. Big simcoe aroma.

650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney, fruity hoppy aroma, slightly sweaty, resinous, hints of orange, mandarine, juniper berry, caramel malty backbone, hints of orange biscuit. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, citrusy fruity, piney, notes of lemon, orange, lemon zest, a mineral and chalky touch. Wooooaaah! Bitter, crisp, perfectly hidden alcohol, malt basis works perfectly as a pedestal for the exposition of hop glory.

Citrus on the nose. Lots of grapefruit. The color and appearance is very good and appealing. It is a worthwhile DIPA.

Old school all the way. Not much malt. All hops all the time. Doesn't push the limits, but for what it is it is exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange with a medium sized frothy white head. Pine, wood, white cheese, bread, biscuit. Medium/full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. A bit more heavy, bitter and rough than Moylander.

More bitter than it needs to be. Good, but a little too extreme to be called delicious. No sweetness at all. Extremely bitter hop juice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours pretty much clear amber with an off-white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma and flavour are resin, pine, caramel, and citrus - with a bitter finish.
