Bottle @ 3N tasting. Deep Amber with a small head. Nose of string hokey. Sickly sweet, fruit leather. Strong, sweet and hot. Taste is similar. Woody aggressive bitterness. Melon fruit leather. Caramel. Full and sticky, oily.

Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear, light amber with a fairly big, white, long lasting head. Aroma has not surprisingly loooots of hops, but also a lot of pale malts. Pretty earthy despite seeming to be pretty fresh. Alcohol is not very well hidden. Taste is a mix of a very pale malty sweetness. Almost some hay, and then of cause lots of hoppy bitterness. Not very fruity, but mostly grassy, malty and skunky. Still some citrus peel though. Taste is less alcoholic, though the taste is very powerfull.

Una birra di carattere. Intensa. Si presenta con un colore ambrato carichissimo nel bicchiere e una buona schiuma. Al naso aromi nettamente erbacei. In bocca amarissima quasi tendente alla sensazione del caffè. Aroma di agrumi e una punta di caramello. Bilanciamento comunque buono. Ottima carbonazione e corpo pieno. Una signora birra!

Tap. Pours clear golden with nice white one finger head. Aroma is do dank! Juicy hops, skunky hash, pine, ripe tropical fruits, very intense. Malty bready background. Slight booze. Taste is hoppy, juicy, grape, skunk. Really oily and turns dry bitter. Oily hoppy mouthfeel. Some warming alcohol. Low carbonation. Long lasting dry finish. So dank! Would like to try it all fresh!

22 oz. bottle at home from notes. Pours a hazy amber color with a small, creamy off white head. The aroma had piney hops, resin, caramel, grapefruit and orange citrus, with some alcohol showing. The flavor has piney hops, resin, alcohol, grapefruit citrus, caramel malts, toast bread, with more general hop bitterness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

On tap (4 oz) @ Le Saint-Bock.

Appearance: Clear golden/copper with a medium off-white head and good lacing.

Aroma: Quite hoppy, but not a stunning combination of hops. Caramel isn’t too far behind, along resin, alcohol and fruity notes.

Taste: Caramel forward with moderate to medium sweetness, resin, fruity presence, alochol and medium bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. A bit of alcohol warmth in the finish. Resinous.

Overall: A decent/good old style DIPA. Not a bad drinkability considering the abv, but those caramel forward DIPA aren’t exactly my cup of tea.
