4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is in the top ten percent of DIPA’s or Imperial IPAs if you prefer. The aroma literally jumps out of the 22 oz bomber alerting you to something special about to be poured. The appearance is superb with especially good lacing. The taste is big and bold with a strong alcohol finish that isn’t a bit cloying. As previously stated this one is right up there and not to be missed. Takes its’ rightful place in the rotation.

On draft. Aroma of caramel. Flavors of citrus hips, toffee malts. Nothing flashy but super-solid.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange with a thin filmy head and a high amount of carbonation and good lacing. Strong grapefruits, oak, citrus and mild caramel in the nose. Flavor is quite piney and woodsy, with caramel, grapefruits and a bittersweet resiny aftertaste. Body is light and mild-to-moderate in carbonation. Pretty good!

From bottle. Nice, aggressive nose, pretty burnt orange. Not bad, but far too malty and sticky for me.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear amber colour with frothy off-white head. Not a lot of nose, a little floral.
Taste is the expected hops, with undertones of citrus and flowers. Medium body beer, with long dry bitter finish. Soft carbonation.
Everything you would expect from an Imperial - nice beer!

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a tad bit too dark for what I like in a DIPA. Aromas of salt, earthy hops. Not much citrus offered. Taste is a malty onslaught of sticky sweetness, some meat drippings, some roasted pork. Not very appealing. Finishes on a note of CIB. Not good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Cole’s during Brew Tour ’13’. Pours a copper-orange color with a small head. Floral, grassy, citrus aromas abound. Flavor is very hoppy/citrus with a bitter finish and nice, resinous mouthfeel. Alcohol is well-hidden and kind of sneaks up on you. A good one to end the night with.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 Oz Bomber. The beer pours to a slightly cloudy deep copper color with an off white thick head. The aroma has a strong citrus, grapefruit & resin scents to it. The taste is medium in body with a nice strong but balanced bitter finish. Overall an excellent DIPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Discount in Waukesha. Pours a hazy orangey copper with an off white head leaving nice streaks of lace. Aroma has grassy and fruity hops - very strongly - and some faint caramel. Taste is of sweet pineapple, grapefruit, tangy pine and a lot of resin, with solid toffee malt in the background. Very hoppy with a lot of depth, but decently balanced. Medium to full bodied and sticky. Finishes more bitter than sweet. And hoppy. Amazed have never rated as this is a solid go-to hoppy DIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber courtesy of Eyrish. Hazy copper orange, off-white creamy foam head fades slowly. Pungent citrus, earthy floral hop aroma, some grapefruit. Big juicy hop bomb taste, bitter, resiny and sappy, spicy pine, citrus, grapefruit with some caramel malts. Average carbonation, medium-full body, aggressively hopped. Dry bitter finish, a real nice palate wrecker makes it: DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)
