Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

On tap at Deep Ellum, Allston (Boston) MA, October 2009. Thought this might be heavily overshadowed by the Green Flash Imperial IPA that I had immediately before but that was not the case. Classic West Coast IPA character. Big hops with a lot of grapefruit and orange peel. Good bitterness makes this an eminently drinkable IPA. So drinkable I had another couple of pints.

Hazy orange, thick beige head. Aroma of lemnon, pine, and grapefruit. Very bitter pine resin up front and a grapefruit finish.

Bomber that looks different from the pic here. Lots of piney smell here. Hoppy taste, bitter. Good stuff.

Draft. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Floral hoppy aroma with a hint of sweetness. The flavor has floral hops, a hint of citrus, and a light sweetness. Not bad.

22 oz bomber from doubleo, thanks man. Poured a nice deep orange with an average bubbly bright white head. Initial aroma was pine and fresh juicey hops and that gives way to some honey topped bread and citrus notes. Mouthfeel is just slightly thinner then expected with average carbonation and a long lasting bitter aftertaste. Flavor is lots of citrus with strong grapefruit, floral hops and pine resin. Probably the best Moylans I have ever had.

Bottle from Sam’s. Pours Dark clear golden with foamy white head, but gets closer to a hazy amber at the bottom of the bottle. Nose of citrus, rind, tropical fruits, resin, and a bit of malt presence which comes out more on the taste. Wanted the taste to be a bit more spicy and crisp, but the malt got in the way a bit. Still a very solid IPA. Slick but thin palate.
