| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Poured from a 22 oz. bottle; cloudy gold with lots of thick white foam. Bitter fruit nose of tangerine, grapefruit juice, and peach skin. Quiet. Flavor is a kick of dry sesame over a body of bitter grapefruit, lemon and orange zests, and pine resin. Barren and drying. Straightforward and highly sessionable, but the flavor distantly lacks that fragrant, floral bittersweetness of the best examples. Crisp and easy in the mouth; light to medium bodied. More bitter citric acid and zested fruit in the dry, bitter finish. Smooth and indifferent. Thanks for sharing, Bob! Boesky (39), Galesburg, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2008 22oz. bomber. Nice golden color; minimal head retention. Nose of citrus and pine. Nicely balanced malt/hop character, with a dry, spicy finish. A good effort and a fine value at it’s price point. Changus (13), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Color was a cloudy off orange to amber hue. Massive head retention oand excellent lace. The smell is strong on citrus, mostly of grapefruit and citrus but some pine and light malt is noticeable as well. The taste is all hops. A good mix of bittering and aroma hops with both citrus and earthy tones. Makes me think of more English style then California. The malt is very smooth with a good mix of Munich and Vienna. Both malt and hops are equally supported and well balanced. Not really any stronger alcohol flavor which is nice. Good body and a good brew for an IPA. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 29, 2008 pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a 11/2 finger fluffy off white head. aroma is nice hops and some malt with orange peel and pine. has a medium body with good lacing and descent carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger and has some grapefruit. has some sediment floating around and there is a nice dry hop aftertaste. the pine hops just sit on the tongue for a while after really coming on in the end. not potent in the aroma but the flavor and aftertaste is really nice. the second glass gives a little more aroma with a bit of floral as well as the flavor. it is still a little flat on the palate but oily and resinous at the same time. it is more of a hop bomb than a balanced ipa but to me it is still pretty nice. for the price at $3.99 a bomber it is unreal!
