COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

I really enjoyed this one.....it starts with a fantastic hop aroma to start very floral slight grapefruit, and tart tropical fruit with a nice carmel scents from the mal as well.....it had a nice golden amber color a good thick off-white colored head. The taste was phenominal....One of the best California IPA’s I have had recently.Loved this one. It had a nice hoppy bang to starp, grapefruit, pine, slightly floral, a nice maltyness to it as well I thought that it was a Hop forward IPA but nicely balanced and had a nice finish, nothing that lingered around for too long but it finished strong. A definate do again beer for me

Bomber. Lightly hazed gold with a whopper of an off white head. Nose is about half orange rind and half perfumey floral scents. Flavor is more of the same, with a bitter pineapple note. Lost behind the hop assault is a light caramel maltiness. A pretty nice drinker, but a bit over the top, particularly if you were just looking to session something, as I was.

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Grapefruit hops on the nose and body. Faint graininess in the body with more citrus pine.

Golden, orange amber liquid with taller, somewhat fluffy, dark cream colored head. Sweet caramel and sugar coated hops aromas. Pine citrus, and apricots all seem to come into play. Unfortunately, nothing to original by today’s standards, but nothing wrong that I can find. Pine and grapefruit hit the palate running. Some caramel, toffee, pale malt and hint of alcohol in the background. More an APA in my book, but a fairly well balanced pale ale, no matter what continent it is coming from. The hops seem a touch too sharp at times, but a hopshead type brew that I find very little fault.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. This is the most impressive IPA I have had in as long as I can remember. There is a full and powerful pine and citrus aroma, this beer smells incredible. Sweet malt and sour grapefruit in the flavor, some more pine, and hops. Mildly bitter but more citrus and sour than anything else.

Picked up a single 22-oz bomber at John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a heck of a thick and lumpy off-white head that has some excellent retention that could be spooned off. Aroma of dry grapefruit zest, a touch of tangerines, pine and a touch of caramel malt, Taste is medium bodied, mild carbonation with an over the top grapefruit zest and juice flavor that overpowers any caramel malt flavors. Finish has a lingering bitterness, slightly dry with a grapefruit flavor. A definite west-coast caliper IPA.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle; cloudy gold with lots of thick white foam. Bitter fruit nose of tangerine, grapefruit juice, and peach skin. Quiet. Flavor is a kick of dry sesame over a body of bitter grapefruit, lemon and orange zests, and pine resin. Barren and drying. Straightforward and highly sessionable, but the flavor distantly lacks that fragrant, floral bittersweetness of the best examples. Crisp and easy in the mouth; light to medium bodied. More bitter citric acid and zested fruit in the dry, bitter finish. Smooth and indifferent. Thanks for sharing, Bob!
