Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Bottle: I think this is underrated. Has a beautiful appearance. Hazy rusty orange in color, cloudy with a massive frothy of-white head. Zesty & fruity bouquet of orange-peel, pineapple, & perfumy peach. Nice velvety body with smooth carbonation. Lots of dry hoppyness. Peppery-orange-rind with an herbal character and a huge grainy malt background to balance. Long, resiny/flowery dry finish. A big IPA.

Floral hop aroma, amber color, big frothy head. Medium malt body gives way quickly to a sharp tight bitter. High resolution hop flavor. Nice one.

Aromas of citrus and pine. Where’s the purity? Slightly hazy golden color with a significant white head that does some lacing. Full mouthfeel. Starts with hop. Sort of resin followed by grapefruit. The malt is definitely second fiddle. The rest of the story is hop. Long hoppy finish. LIke it might never end. Every mouthfull is a burst of evergreen followed by citrus. Way cool. Seriously, it has a cooling effect in the mouth.

Bottle: Dirty golden, soft haze, large rocky off-white head, fairly nice lacing.   Solid nose of hops and citrus peel, with mild hints of tea leaves.   Stronger tea leaf on the tongue, hops and citrus peel are a bit muted.   Clean, no real detractions to speak of.   Could use a bit more malt, but I say that about most of my beers.   Just seems a little less than moderate in body.   Lingering citrus peel and tea leaves.   Definitely a softer hop bite of an IPA, but still worth having again.   I wonder how this would be fresh and on draught.

Solid. Lots of hops on the nose. Very citrusy with sharp, sharp hop presence highlighted by some nice spicyness. Some old oak and floral notes on top of a medium bodied, but somewhat bland and forgettable malt base. Nice looking in the glass.

Poured a cloudy orangish gold body with a white head. Diffinitely a grapefruit taste with a hint of alcohol. Not bad IPA.

Bottle from River’s End. Poured hazy brown color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium citrus bitter and a medium smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Love the cloudiness and little floaties in this one. The big chewy, fruity kick up front makes this one special. Decent spice in the middle, and tasty bitter, grapefruit finish. overall, one of my favorite IPAs.
