COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Pretty pour - a cloudy amber, with a big, pillowy off-white head. Leaves great lacing. Smells like someone took a hop cone and dunked it in caramel. This is a malt bomb of an IPA - the hops are just right, but there’s so much malt to counter that it overpowers the hops almost entirely. Completely off balance, and ends up being syrupy as a result. Not my fav.

Cloudy carbonated beer with a dull deep golden to light copper color. This IPA has a rustic type hop scent with an ample malt notes. This is a malty IPA with a full compliment of hops and malt to make this bigger bodied given the style. The finish is chewy and mouth coating.

(22oz bomber thanks to mar) clear rich amber, lasting film of white bubbles. Nose of bread, candied citrus, oranges. Taste is bitter, rye, bread, and orange. Nice malt backbone, oily finish but it’s pretty bitter on the palate.

Bomber. Pours a nice hazed copper with good lace. Very potent resinous grapefruit pine citrus hop aroma. Intense bitterness with strong malt backbone. Excellent stuff!

I tried a 22oz bomber of the Moylans IPA and with the initial pour, it appeared orangish and a touch cloudy. Not amazing looking but not bad. I didn’t get a ton of smells. I really liked the tastes. Fresh tartness up front, with a great hops/malts balance. Medium bodied with a really tight carbonation. Solid IPA, refreshing, and a pleasant lingering bitterness. I haven’t had a ton from Moylans, but this was a terrific find. Easy recommendation.

Not a great beer at all, not terrible, I wouldnt buy it again. I was expecting substantially more. Hops tasted old and no real hop aroma.

(22oz bottle, courtesy of mar) Pours a clear copper body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, pineapple, florals, and some earthiness. Flavor of citrus, caramel, herbs, and earth with a moderately bitter finish.
