Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Lots of hops. In fact, for a standard IPA, I think it is a little overdone with the hops. A bit more along the lines of a Double IPA. Delicious nonetheless.

The pour reveals a slightly cloudy golden color with a huge, frothy, offwhite head. Splendid aroma of green, resinous hops. Solid flavor of green and resinous hops, the malt is present too giving off a sweet caramel feel and it all finishes with bitterness. The body has a light to medium thickness and the carbonation is moderate. This is a well-done and pleasant IPA.

Thanks to my wife for this one. IT pours copper with a 2-finger off-white head. The aroma is intensely hoppy, with a pleasant mix of fruit, caramel malt, and tropical tinges accompanying the hops. The palate is medium to dense, with a solid hop element coupled with a tropical fruit and caramel malt base, which gives a crisp, hoppy, fruity mid-palate and finish. I wish I had more of these for comparison purposes.

Bomber. Dark orange amber color, aroma is of syrup and citrus, mostly grapefruit. Taste is of sweet orange hops, caramel malt. Overall impression: enjoyable but surprisingly bland and weak -- there are no rough edges and the beer slides down the throat like it was trying to sneak in.

Strong hops flavor. Much stronger than I expected. I agree with the previous review, this one is underrated.

In the bomber bottle from Cyclone Liquors. Pours a cloudy hazy orange amber with the mother of all heads: concrete off-white and ready to attack your face. Aroma is an awesome and powerful grapefruit and citrus pine. Flavors are strong of big hops. Orange bitterness. This is MUCH better than its rating would suggest.

22 oz bomber.Very cloudy muddy appearance with a massive fluffy white head. The aroma shows spicy hop character but there is also a musty note that indicates infection. Sweetish malts with brown sugar and caramel as well as some woody hops. Stale mouthfeel and flavour. Soft resinousness hint at what this bottle used to be, but right now it’s not much at all.
