Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Excellent citrus aroma with grapefruit hops. Pours a transparent amber with a nice white head and pretty good lacing. Taste is all grapefruit hops with some moderate acidity in the finish. With no malt balance it is definitely one dimensional and the unpleasant acidity really hurts. Aroma and appearance keep this in at a 3.

This pours a golden/orange body with a Huge, chunky cream-colored head that does some amazing Belgian chunking (lacing wouldn’t be the appropriate term here) as you drink. The aroma, if a bit light for an IPA, has the scents of orange blossoms, pine, and a touch of grapefruit. The sweet caramel malts are evident in the mouth, nearly overpowered by the same combination of hop bitterness present in the nose. The finish is sticky and mildly bitter, luring you to drink some more.

Lovely large tan head with good staying power and loads of sticky lace that just wont quit. Lightly hazy copper color with an orange glow. Big hop nose, floral, citrusy, piney, lightly fruity with a touch of overipe melons. Body is med/full, lightly oily. A mouthfool of hops awaits, juicey, fruity and spicey with a touch of bubblegum. Lightly sweet malts support all the hoppy fun. A solid IPA, very enjoyable. Thanks to SDbruboy for the trade!

Hazy color with big head. Typical IPA nose to it, nothing over the top. More malty than hoppy. I was expecting a little more hop to it.

Poured a hazy dark amber color with a huge light tan head. Aroma of crab apples and a touch of hops. Flavor of caramel and astringent bitterness from start to finish.

Nothing amazing here. A nice opening flavor, but it tails off into blandness at the end. Nice and thick for an IPA, and the pour is nice, with a lot of lace and a fine head.

Pours orange amber, medium sized white head lingers nicely. Pugent citrus aroma of Cascabe type hops. The unusual malt bill really comes through with strange yet very hop complimenting flavors. The finish is a lingering bitterness with a flavor profile of bitterning hops, like Chinook. Mouthfeel is rich, perhaps a bit sticky.

Pours sort of an amber/brownish color. Not a ton of hops in the aroma. Mostly just hops and a hint of sweetness. Flavor is quite bitter. Fairly malty. Finish is mostly hoppy bitterness.
