COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Bottle. Light orange with a frothy white large head. The aroma is sweetish - cookie caramel, lots of grapefruit. Blanced flavour is piney and bitter in your face. Resinous and chewy.

OK brew, and I wouldn’t throw it out of bed, but not sure if I’ld give it a sympathy shag. The aroma is very promising, but fleeting. Dark straw color, poor lacing on my crystal goblet. A little thin on the tounge, but great hop flavor. Mmmmmnn. I’ld buy another, I guess.

22 oz. bottle - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a good size off white head. Lots of lacing. Has a strong grapefruit aroma. Flavor is mainly citrus hops. Not much balance here. Medium body. Not bad.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & mds -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy orange with a large lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is surprisingly sweet with fruity malt, some spices and a variety of fresh hops -- very nice! Hoppy flavour nicely balanced with sweet caramel malt -- pleasant spicey bitter finish. Simple but damn tasty. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Wow, I can’t believe how underrated this beer is, I thought it was absolutely delicious.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2006 Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and mds, my bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a large off-white. Sweet-ish fruity malty, resin/citrus/floral hops. Taste - very bitter hops (herbal), citrus malt - nice balance. Average IPA body, decent carbonation, lightl astringency, nice herbal finish - nice.
