3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 mar (3547) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 2, 2010
poured a deep amber with a cream puff head. nose is citrus hops, sticky, chewy, resiny, pine, fruity, and faint caramel. nice on the palate, malts upfront, followed by sticky hops and a sticky bitter finish.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 bozoNZ (655) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 6, 2010
Lovely colour, perfect clear light golden - great head. Wafty citrus/potpouri perfume. This is a very aged sample so well past its best and hop charachter has deterioriated.- to a little tannic wooody-ish. Nice malt weight and the hop balance is good - technically a better beer than the double IPA...
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Reid (1383) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Bomber from Lifesource ,Salem.
Good looking,if typical for an IPA. Slightly bronzed orange beer with a nice thick and frothy creme coloured head.
Aroma is also pleasing though less bursting with hops than most West Coast varietes..this almost has an English style aroma to it.
Taste reflects the aroma and it seems a quite balanced beer for it..the malts do well. Then right at the end of the mouthful the hops get really turned on.
Ok on the palate not the best and not the worst for the style..good lingering bitterness.
Ovrall a nice IPA, more balanced than many on the West Coast.

The weakest of the hoppy IPA’s from Moylans, this one still delivers a lovely punch of bitterness to the dome. Quite enjoyable. In Moylans land though, I prefer the DIPA and the Hopsickle. This stuff is GREAT on draft though (especially if fressssh!).
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 marcus (3763) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 16, 2010
22 oz bottle. Pours apricot-colored with a nice off-white head and a strong floral aroma. There is a pretty caramel malt flavor with significant hopping that results in a bitter finish. A solid IPA, but not spectacular.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MadIndian (1732) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2010
Hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet grapefruit and pine. A bitter dry taste with a decent finish but it was lacking something.
This company gets the appearance down but the taste is still a little thin.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 williamherbert (1041) - Syracuse, New York, USA - MAR 24, 2010
From a growler... Flowery hop perfume aroma. Hint of pine sap. Earthy, spicy malts.
The appearance is golden yellow, big fluffy head. Beautiful frosty lace. Color is surprisingly light.
The flavor is darkly roasted malt makes a nice balance. Hop heavy for sure. Woody pine and perfume. Aftertaste of wood chips and a nicely astringent alcohol.
The palate is gritty and thick. Feel of an Imperial. A little carbonation bounce. A woody, oily IPA. Hop heavy but very soild.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 shakespeare33 (197) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 11, 2010
bomber from bevmo.. color is a translucent, dark tinted golden amber with a frothy head.. considerable lacing..smells somewhat chalky, not as hops induced as I wouldve expected. nothing to pronounced with the aroma.. the initial hit to the palate is punch drunk hops.. powerful hops, I mean these hops have just taken off all their clothes and run outside in the rain.. citrus infused but the the pine and bitterness takes the lead role.. The dry hops pound my palate and its hard to taste the munich in this brew but on the tailend I get my reward, the crisp munich hops present themselves and bit of toffee rounds out the taste.. not my favorite but not bad either...
