Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Pours a clear golden with a diminishing head. Smells hoppy. Mellow bitterness with lots of hoppy aromas. Some grapefruit aromas with some slightly earthy notes. Dry and fruity. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbonation.

Cloudy orange with a lasting white head. Hoppy aroma of grass and citrus, with an odd spicy pepper note. Dry grassy, and very bitter hop flavour

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-08-18) Golden and lightly hazy. Medium sized and white head. Grass, citricness and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied, harsh and dry palate with quite high carbonation. Malts, fruitiness, bitterness, grass, citiricness and resin in taste. Harsh and bitter aftertaste.

(Bottled) Hazy amber-golden with a small, partly lasting head. Quite original, exotic-fruity aroma with citrus and a hint of cat pee. Flavor is dryish and bitter with less fruitiness than the aroma suggests, and with a similar cat-pee found in Severin. Medium body, soft carbonation, but harsh bitterness. Promising aroma, but the flavor was not for me.

0.66 l bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Copper color with creamy head. Firm fruity, lemony and piney hop aroma. Bitter and firmly hoppy flavor with fruity, lemony and slightly soapy hops. Very hop forward, only light nutty and biscuity maltiness in the background. The hop character is somewhat soapy and not very bright.

Derek Hyde’s bomber from BC. Yellow with siginficant white head, and lacey. Some decent c-hopa roma. Creamy mouthfeel, an easy drinker. Decent above=-average tasting IPA, with some citrus, decent bitterness.

Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich with hops and flowers. A bit one dimensional on the hops, but I love hops.

Pours orange-amber with a medium white head. Lots of citrus hops and malt in the nose. Flavor is the malt trying to balance lots of pine and citrus fruit hops. The hops win out, but this is still fairly balanced and good to drink.
