| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 19, 2009 22oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, orange body with a thick and dense, finger-width, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of heavy lacing. Aroma is big on the pine and sweet, herbal citrus. Lots of malts, including sweet caramels and a bit of toasted toffee. Really nice and flowery with lots of orange and pineapple. Flavor is quite nice. A lot deeper than the aroma leads it to be. Big caramels and toasted toffees up front with lots of pine. Some more toasty toffees and deep pine with lots of heavy orange/pineapple/grapefruit/peachy melon and a bit of licorice flavor. Finishes dry with deep pines, somewhat sweet malts and pleny of herbal, earthy fruits. Palate is full bodied and smooth while maintaining a perfect balance. Overall, this is an IPA! Lots of intense flavors while maintaining a very nice malt balance. Very, very impressive! Mmmmm.... GJF (498), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.
Pours clear pale-ish amber with a great, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of grapefruit, melon, spicy hops. A slight peppery edge. Elegant carbonation, super dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very dry. Piney, peppery and slightly fruity in the hops. In the far aftertaste, there is a good citric hoppy note. The malts are well-balanced, light caramel and biscuity. But it may be a little harsh, but I still like it :o)
