Mar 4, 2009 Notes of mint complement citrus and floral hops and underlying malt sweetness in the nose. Hazy dirty gold coloured body is topped by a generous and fluffy white head that recedes fairly quickly to a lasting cover with very nice lacing. Strong bitterness is somewhat harsh in character and overshadows the malt sweetness and floral and citrus notes. Somewhat grainy in the aftertaste. Medium body with lightly pointy effervescence. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Mar-09.

Jun 7, 2009 Bottle. High creamy and long lasting white head. Clear amber body. Powerful bitter sweet apple pear hops spicy floral aroma. Impressive. Very dry and fruity nutty and overwhelming hoppy flavor that is long lasting. Low carbonation. Alcohol percentage seems just right.

Mar 13, 2008 Picked up a single 22-oz bomber at John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a hazy golden pale brew with a heck of a thick and lumpy off-white head that has some excellent retention that could be spooned off. Aroma of dry grapefruit zest, a touch of tangerines, pine and a touch of caramel malt, Taste is medium bodied, mild carbonation with an over the top grapefruit zest and juice flavor that overpowers any caramel malt flavors. Finish has a lingering bitterness, slightly dry with a grapefruit flavor. A definite west-coast caliper IPA.

Sep 8, 2006 Bomber. Poured a clear medium orange with an explosive and long-lived cap of creamy beige head... left some nice lacing. Nose was airy and grainy... with hard-to-reach pine and spicy hops... some caramel and toffee beneath. The flavor carried itself a little better, with pine, grapefruit, and spicy English hoppage on top of super-sweet caramel and candy corn. Medium bitterness on the not-so-memorable palate... a bit tacky at the back-end. Decent.

Jun 4, 2005 Poured a hazy dark amber color with a huge light tan head. Aroma of crab apples and a touch of hops. Flavor of caramel and astringent bitterness from start to finish.

Aug 13, 2009 Derek Hyde’s bomber from BC. Yellow with siginficant white head, and lacey. Some decent c-hopa roma. Creamy mouthfeel, an easy drinker. Decent above=-average tasting IPA, with some citrus, decent bitterness.

Sep 26, 2006 Updated: Sep 27, 2006Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and mds, my bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a large off-white. Sweet-ish fruity malty, resin/citrus/floral hops. Taste - very bitter hops (herbal), citrus malt - nice balance. Average IPA body, decent carbonation, lightl astringency, nice herbal finish - nice.

Appearance: mid light yet clean amber brew , mid plus creamy top, some lace.3+
Nose: nutty , hoppy top , citric clean hop character , hint of alcohol.
Flavor/Palate : mid full bodied . oily textures with clean malt base. Bitter , bit sharp profile. Still quiet drinkable. 13-/20
