Commercial Description:
Our version of the IPA beer style possesses a deep golden hue, rich malty flavor, a bold, complex, and enduring hop finish and is extremely full bodied. We dry hop this brew and use a combination of Fuggles and Chinook hop varieties resulting in an extremely enticing floral and spicy aroma as well as hop character. Great Western Two Row Pale Malt, De Wolf-Cosyns' Caravienne and Munich Malts are combined to achieve an initial specific gravity approaching 1.065.

Bomber! Hazy color with big head. Typical IPA nose to it, nothing over the top. More malty than hoppy. I was expecting a little more hop to it.

Hazy amber pour with a long lasting foamy head that laces nicely. Aroma is mostly floral hops, with a touch of citrus and caramel malt. Flavor has a touch of the malt and citrus hops, but is dominated by floral soapy tasting hops that last through the finish and stick in the mouth. Maybe it would be better to shower in it than to drink it.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a low rocky lasting white foam. Almost soliely hops in the aroma of resin, grapefruit and gras ith a wee hint of peaches. Medium-bodied with strong hoppy notes of grapefruit, grass, and resin with touches of caramel and nectarines. Long really bitter finish of grapefruit-rind, grass and dry spices.

Orangish-amber pour with strong fluffy white head. The nose is pretty robust...pine and citrus PNW hops. The flavors are the initial hop pine resin and citrus fruit pretty well balanced by the crystal malt caramel and toffee sweetness. Smooth and easy-drinker.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 16 Aug 2008) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, floral, fresh nose with orange peel, mandarin and apricots. Fruity, floral taste with notes of mandarin, orange, resin, grapefruit and a slightly grassy, floral finish. A fresh citrussy bitterness comes creeping after a while, balanced by a hint of grain. Medium body, fairly dry. Lovely hop character with stunning balance. Lovely beer!

Bottle.Medium sized white head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, hazy, visible carbonation, and a straw yellow and orange hue. The aroma consisted of malt, floral and citrus hops, some pine, grapefruit, and some spicyness. The flavor was malt, hoppy, pine, grapefruit, caramel, lightly bitter, and a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a medium bodied IPA. A good IPA with a lingering hoppy aftertaste, worthy of a try, but not an IPA that I will revisit as it was just a little too hoppy tasting for my liking as I am not a "hophead".
