3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled, thanks hopsrus! Deep copper colour, huge, lively head. Flowery toffee aroma with notes of raspberries. Sweet, fruity and full bodied. Thick and syrupy rather than firm. Grassy bitter finish. A bit raw.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very nice dark ruby brown color with a small off white head. Malt, spice and earthy aroma. Mildly sweet malt, with tea and earthy flavors. Very interesting.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Glowing dark ruby color, clear, with a small off-white head. The aroma was fruity...herbal tea, and a little medicinal. The flavor was very sweet...sugary, fruity, herbal tea. The feel was very soft...not a lot of carbonation here.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear garnet body, creamy medium tan head. The aroma is not very aggressive, some caramel and malt and that is about it. Flavor is medium malt and some caramel. Not much going on here. As is typical with Moylan's this beer is just OK and needs some serious work to to impress me.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a reddish brown with a small tan head. Nose is sweetened malts and caramel. Some alcohol and perhaps chocolate. Hint of toffee as well. Nice aroma! Of course, I let this warm up alot. The taste is a weakened version of the aroma. Thinner chocolate, alcohol and sweetened malts along with more caramel. The body is a little thin. I would have liked it to be as rich as the aroma, but, oh well. Finishes with some sugray and alcoholic notes. Not too bad!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours with a small completely diminishing head. Liquid is dark red. Nose is alcohol and carmel malts. Initial flavor is very sweet. Body is carmel, burnt and alcohol. Finish is warm alcohol, like scotch. Palate is bit light, watery, may be a characteristic of the style. Overall, not bad, drinkable sweet ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Really nice-looking, deep-brown hue. Sweet, caramel-like malts; lightly toasted. Surprisingly, almost watery at times. Alcohol is hidden really well. Not as smoky as I expected, which I commonly find in this style. Only mildly bitter.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Once again...another funky brew that needs some serious help. It starts off ok, pouring a magenta color with a slight tanned head which took a while to disappear...then everything went downhill. It smelled very alcoholic for an 8 percenter, with a lot of nut and spice aroma. It wasnt the most inviting of aromas. Some hints of fruit as well. The taste was a contrast of vast proportions. Plums and cherries mixed in with a nasty watery roastiness which made my stomach quiver in pain. It ended very tartly and bland with sours mixing in with sweet fruits. Utterly confusing!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
slight nutty and smoky aroma, transparent light brown, oily, alcoholic, nutty maltiness and it cleans up nicely
