Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 29, 2007 Updated: Dec 4, 2007Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is acidic with notes of herbs, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, but also a ligth acidity, leading to a dry fruity and acidic finish. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 27, 2007 Updated: Dec 2, 2007(Bottle 65 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish, chocolatey nose. Medium body with sweet caramel notes and again notes of (milk)chocolate. Soft and smooth finish with basically no bitterness. Very pleasant. 301107

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Very hazy, nutty brown with a dense, beige head. Sweetish malty with some acidity. Medium-bodied, sweetish with overripe fruit, some raisins and then an astringent acidity. Subdued bitterness. I’m afraid this one was infected. Sad. 7/2/4/2/10=2.5 230407 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden May 8, 2004 Bottled, thanks hopsrus! Deep copper colour, huge, lively head. Flowery toffee aroma with notes of raspberries. Sweet, fruity and full bodied. Thick and syrupy rather than firm. Grassy bitter finish. A bit raw. yespr (7843), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 26, 2007 Updated: Dec 14, 2007Sample from bottle. Pours amber with white head. Aroma is malty but sadly also sour. Flavour is sour, citric and clearly infected. But has a distinct liqourice finish. Gets a decent rating based on what this could have been like without the infection.4-3-5-3-9=2.4
From bottle, no 28 at Papsoes blintasting. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Mild chocolate aroma. Flavour is sweet an with a mild vanilla/chocolate blend. Ends with a sweet flavour and smooth chocolate.5-3-6-3-12=2.9 Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 31, 2005 Bottle, Fogg Robson

Bright dark amber colour. Big caramel aroma with hints of earth. Chewy, earthy body, with plenty of caramel and a hoppy accent in the finish. The malts aren’t as bright as I’d like them to be - the beer plods its way across the palate.
