COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

This was a dyn-o-mite IPA. Amber with weak beige head didnít look very appealing but the aroma was potent hops, grapefruit, pine. Thick and rich mouthfeel. The flavor was BIG. Hops, citrus. Sweet to bitter. Grabs you. Strong alcohol finish. Potent stuff. Way to go!

Bottle. Good hop nose. Kind of sweet a fruity too. Cloudy dark orange hue. Very intense earty and floral bitterness at first and it gives way to nice malt back bone. Pretty balanced. Must try more when I can.

The hops were a real ass kicker in this one! Very tangy and bitter on the back of the tongue. Like swallowing a handful of hops. Hop heads will bow down to this one!

UPDATED: APR 7, 2009 22oz bottle. 05.24.04 Gusher!! Dark, rusty orange. Even after 30 min, this beer is still out of control on the pour. Funky fruit aroma; bourbon, unripe pear, mango dominate the sweet nose. Unusual flavors of berries, tangerine. Not so hoppy but a crazy dry finish, some funk. Many floaties?!

20090408 I assume this is a fresh bottle as it just showed up locally. Not stellar, but a solid DIPA. Malts are lacking a bit. it seems to be all about big, bracign, bitterness. Iím okay with that; itís decent. some cardboardy off flavors.

22 oz bomber-pours a dark orange hue almost amber with decent lacing and small white head. Wide boquet of floral hops and a touch of vanilla. creamy citrus flavors, especially when cold and has better balance cold. when warm, the piney finish really tingles the tongue. Long citrus finish. Definately a solid IIPA, but not a top contender in the class. Just another one to add to my list of fav style.

Tap@Moylans. Intense armoatic hops in the nose, sweet intense hops, pine, grapefruit. Fairly well balanced, but intense.

Poured with a 3 finger brown head. Hazy, dark reddish-brown in color. Smells of pine (main smell), citris, wood, and light malts. Starts of sweet and ends with a nice hoppy bitter taste. Dry and spicy finish.

Copper body with a huge colony of small particles and a cottony white head. Nice nose of brown sugar and earthy and woody hops. Flavor has some cardboard and big hops. Malts are present but mostly buried by bitter hops. Titillating as a hop fix. However, this is an IPA with double hop character but the malts fail to completely catch up.

Bottled, thanks hopsrus!
Cloudy amber, rich airy head. Citric grapefruit aroma. Sweet and malty, sugary and hoppy. Powerful with saccharine sweet and bitter finish.

Pours light copper colored with a thick light tan head. Big, huge hoppy, resiny aroma. Sticky. Grassy flavor, big hops. Nice malt, hop balance. Finishes sweet with a hop bite at the end. Very nice and quite powerful.
