Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

22 oz on sale for 4.99. I’ve never heard of the brewery before but I figured at that price it was worth a shot. Pours a hazy copper color with a slight golden hue to it and a white head that dissipates slowly. Looks pretty nice. Smells heavily malty, almost reminiscent of Dogfish Head’s 90 Min. IPA. Slightly piney hops and citrus underneath as well. Tastes is almost reversed with the hops coming through more and the malt in the background. This one is quite bitter as well, almost bordering on astringent. I wouldn’t want to drink it warm. Body is above average and slightly creamy too. This is a pretty good IPA but a bit harsh on the back end.

@ SBWF 2015: Riktig tung maltig ipa men även med rätt mycket humle. Trots det ganska len. Gott
