COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

Dark orange-amber body (like when you’ve had too many vitamins if you know what I mean), thin cream colored head. Citrus hop aroma, grapefruit, a bit spicy. Pretty good.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Hazy gold colour, with a white head. Aroma has tropical fruit, and citrus, but also a touch biscuity. Taste is mid sweet, with a very bitter finish.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a very strong off white head. Aroma is peach juice, tropical, hoppy, grapefruit, strong mango, lemon and orange dominant and a weak lime zest for citrus, heavy and oily pine, all with a great sweet malt backbone. Taste is peach, orange, grapefruit, lemon, biscuit, malt, mango, tropical fruit, average hop bitter. Extremely solid double IPA, much more drinkable than most, the fruit sweetness actually is stronger than the hop bitter, buy a couple of bombers if you like IPAs.

On draft at Tap 25. I’m pretty sure I’ve had this beer on several occasions throughout the years, but I’m finally getting a chance to rate it. It pours a rich gold color with a lasting white head. The aroma is sweet peachy, florals, citrus and tropical fruit. Not too potent. The flavor is extremely bitter with pine and sweaty tropical fruit. It has an oily body. Pretty good, if a bit heavy on the bitterness.

24-OCT-2014, bottle @Morten. Huge 9/10, creamy, fluffy, yellow head. Aroma is hops. Perhaps not all that fresh. Pine, fruit, touch of cheese. Taste is so hoppy. Very, very bitter, grape fruit, pine, touch of cardboard. Full body, sweet. Very heavy malty backbone. A rough one. That I like.

"called a double ipa, but drinks like a hoppy barleywine...a little more hop and a little less pine, and you’d think it was a bigfoot. good beer, not best of style, but worth trying. 2010-as the years pass, this one keeps getting passed, but it’s still good. too much biscuit malt detracts from it, though."

Pours hazy gold with very large frothy head out of bottle. Pleasant aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, and a mixture of hops. Flavor of citrus, fruit, caramel, and of course hops. Very good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
