Bomber from DiCarlos in Mundelein. Pours a pale orangey yellow with a gusher of a white head. Never got low enough to see about lacing. Aroma has pineapple and spicy pine with caramel. Taste is of citrus (pineapple, lemon), definite spicy pine presence, some caramelly malt and some grainy-ness. And some spicy pine. Medium bodied and sticky. Light alcohol presence. Seems quite homebrewed. Finishes bitter and spicy, with hints of sweetness. Shrug?

On tap @ Moylan’s. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit, floral hops, and maybe lemon. Some bread, peach, and orange. Nice citrusy hop flavors. Some grapefruit and orange, maybe lemon peel. Mild pine bitterness. Nicely floral. Some bread sweetness and a hint of peach.

Godkendt. Drukket den 22.4.12.

22oz bottle, amber-orange color, with a thick beige creamy head, with a nice sweet toasted, caramel, biscuity malt, floral leafy, piney, resiny, soapy, citrus hoppy nose with some fruity candied apricot, orange peel, lemon marmalade, minty accents, with a herbal grassy, woody note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good concentrated resiny, piney hop pellets character, with some flowery leafy, resinous, citrus, grassy, minty hoppy flavours, with a lime, lemon, grapefruit peel zesty backbone, and a faint toasted, caramel, pale malt undertone, leading towards a zesty lime peel, an intense juicy resiny hop bitterness finish.

Poured from draft at city tavern. Clear orange pour. Tropical notes for aroma. The taste is very bitter with a nutty taste at the end. Strange. But good

Pours a bright copper gold hue with an elegant unfiltered turbidity. Bubbly off white head with heavy lacing on the glass following the pour. Slightly floral and earthy, more citrus aromas dominate the nose, nice. Mellow slightly sweet malty taste which finishes with strong bitter hops leaving an almost dry smoky grapefruit sensation. Great IPA.

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are caramel, peach, and pine – with a bitter finish.
