3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: An extremely bitter citrusy, wooden and resinous IPA. Good despite its excessive bitterness.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed moderately fresh 2 months after receiving it through private importation
The look: Almost clear golden amber body topped by small off-white head
In long: The hoppy nose is mostly citrusy, dank and a bit floral. Taste is a soft chewy bready malt backbone, some caramel, concentrate apricots juice, hops resin, floral notes. The bitterness is surprisingly biting and really sticks to the back of the mouth, so much so that it almost feels like an alcohol bite (but the beer is only 6.5%). Bitterness level is really through the roof and would be more fitting in a 9% Double IPA and seems disproportionate in this beer. After-taste is very much sticky wooden hops resin. This is really not a session IPA, unless you have maso taste-buds. For bitterness lovers only. I enjoyed this beer alone at home because with no distraction, because if there is something I hate in life it is everything that is not beer.

22 oz bottle from Torrance, CA Whole foods. Translucent gold pour. Two finger head recedes to a half inch and last throughout the time it takes to drink the beer. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, and something sweet which is hard to identify. Taste is of grapefruit, pith, peach, and sweet malts. More of a maltier ipa than a hoppy one. Smooth mouthfeel with a little resin and lower carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clean bright yellow with one finger of off white head. Nose is malt forward and herbal, heavily herbal. Kind of convoluted and muddled, bready and herbal domination. This just seems like a big ol’ English Style IPA to me....Slight oxidation. Not a big fan. Astringent lasting bitterness.

Nice big head and decent lacing with a pine/grassy and grapefruit aroma. A semi sweet start with the grapefruit flavour and a big bitter finish. This is a very decent US IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Orangish amber, clear, a bit fiery, thin white head, spotty lacing.   Pale hop nose, slightly vegetal.   Moreso vegetal on the tongue.   Seems like one of those beers thats been sitting in the sun for too long.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Hoppy finish, yet chalk full of overcooked vegetables.   Its not so strong that I think its off, but still could use a re-rate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma is malty with some ripe fruits, stinky cheese, and resiny hops. There is a touch of butter that came in as it warmed. The flavor is a bit more subdued and more like the description would lead one to believe. Good balance between malt and hops. Moderate bitterness to the finish. Meh...

Fantastic hop aroma, quite complex that makes you want to just sniff your glass all day long like some kind of paint sniffer. The palate is clean and crisp with plenty of hop flavour and good supporting malt. A dry finish makes this one of the better IPA’s I’ve had for some time.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber. Bitter hops throughout. Citrus and pine in the middle. Well balanced even without much malty sweetness. Dry bitter finish. Tasty.

Draft. Wet-hopped version. Amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light earth and light caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with earth and light caramel.
