3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clean bright yellow with one finger of off white head. Nose is malt forward and herbal, heavily herbal. Kind of convoluted and muddled, bready and herbal domination. This just seems like a big ol’ English Style IPA to me....Slight oxidation. Not a big fan. Astringent lasting bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice big head and decent lacing with a pine/grassy and grapefruit aroma. A semi sweet start with the grapefruit flavour and a big bitter finish. This is a very decent US IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Orangish amber, clear, a bit fiery, thin white head, spotty lacing.   Pale hop nose, slightly vegetal.   Moreso vegetal on the tongue.   Seems like one of those beers thats been sitting in the sun for too long.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Hoppy finish, yet chalk full of overcooked vegetables.   Its not so strong that I think its off, but still could use a re-rate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma is malty with some ripe fruits, stinky cheese, and resiny hops. There is a touch of butter that came in as it warmed. The flavor is a bit more subdued and more like the description would lead one to believe. Good balance between malt and hops. Moderate bitterness to the finish. Meh...

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fantastic hop aroma, quite complex that makes you want to just sniff your glass all day long like some kind of paint sniffer. The palate is clean and crisp with plenty of hop flavour and good supporting malt. A dry finish makes this one of the better IPA’s I’ve had for some time.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber. Bitter hops throughout. Citrus and pine in the middle. Well balanced even without much malty sweetness. Dry bitter finish. Tasty.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy resin hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate smooth bittersweet flavor with a moderate bitterswwet finish of medium duration. This is an ok brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent brass color with a big billowy white head that has good retention. The aroma is moderate in strength with sweet caramel and orange blossoms. The flavor is biter hops forward with a good mix of pine resins and grapefruit set in a caramel malt base. The palate is somewhat light and the carbonation is lively. Finishes medium in duration and dry with a slight bit of astringency and lingering biter hops. Overall: Very tasty IPA, well done.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on tap 1702, Tucson; October 2011
Arrives from the tap with a frothy, pale head. The beer is a clear, slightly copper tinged, deep gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, bright gold color when held up to the light. My nose is greeted by a righteously hoppy blast of tangelo zest, ripe lychee, ample floral tropical fruit notes, super fruit driven bright citrus notes and perhaps a hint of dank / herbal and perhaps a touch of pine. The nose is exactly what I want to find in a proper IPA.
A biting bitterness grips the palate up front and just holds on through to the long finish where it significantly dries out the beer. The bitterness, backed by a piquant pine like character and a dankly herbacaous hop character is the dominant hop flavor in this beer, but there is a soft, somewhat supporting hoppy fruit character that provides notes of lychee, floral, tropical peach and super ripe tangelo. This beer is quite dry throughout, which is why the hop fruit character is so surpressed in the flavor; it is also quite light bodied and extremely quaffable; this beer drinks quite dangerously for its strength. Because of the dryness, this beer is aggressively hoppy in a tongue flagellating, abrasive way (definitely a beer for the hop lovers out there). The malt plays a distant, extremely supporting role here, it barely contributes a touch of pale biscuit maltiness and perhaps a touch of cracker like character that lingers a bit in the finish.
A thoroughly aggressive, quite dry, IPA; it is almost a touch too dry as much of the bright, promised fruitiness from the nose is greatly suppressed in the flavor. A beer that is definitely for the hop heads out there, but I wish there was a touch more residual malt character that could have accentuated more of the fruit leaning hop notes in the flavor.
