650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent brass color with a big billowy white head that has good retention. The aroma is moderate in strength with sweet caramel and orange blossoms. The flavor is biter hops forward with a good mix of pine resins and grapefruit set in a caramel malt base. The palate is somewhat light and the carbonation is lively. Finishes medium in duration and dry with a slight bit of astringency and lingering biter hops. Overall: Very tasty IPA, well done.

Arrives from the tap with a frothy, pale head. The beer is a clear, slightly copper tinged, deep gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, bright gold color when held up to the light. My nose is greeted by a righteously hoppy blast of tangelo zest, ripe lychee, ample floral tropical fruit notes, super fruit driven bright citrus notes and perhaps a hint of dank / herbal and perhaps a touch of pine. The nose is exactly what I want to find in a proper IPA.

A biting bitterness grips the palate up front and just holds on through to the long finish where it significantly dries out the beer. The bitterness, backed by a piquant pine like character and a dankly herbacaous hop character is the dominant hop flavor in this beer, but there is a soft, somewhat supporting hoppy fruit character that provides notes of lychee, floral, tropical peach and super ripe tangelo. This beer is quite dry throughout, which is why the hop fruit character is so surpressed in the flavor; it is also quite light bodied and extremely quaffable; this beer drinks quite dangerously for its strength. Because of the dryness, this beer is aggressively hoppy in a tongue flagellating, abrasive way (definitely a beer for the hop lovers out there). The malt plays a distant, extremely supporting role here, it barely contributes a touch of pale biscuit maltiness and perhaps a touch of cracker like character that lingers a bit in the finish.

A thoroughly aggressive, quite dry, IPA; it is almost a touch too dry as much of the bright, promised fruitiness from the nose is greatly suppressed in the flavor. A beer that is definitely for the hop heads out there, but I wish there was a touch more residual malt character that could have accentuated more of the fruit leaning hop notes in the flavor.

Good lasting head and lacing on a clear orangey golden body. Grassy and grapefruit on the aroma. Similar in the taste, lovely pronounced bitterness, medium body. Drank excellent.

(On draught at Papago). Pours a clear copper with off-white head. Active carbonation. Aroma is citrusy, juicy hops, graham crackers and resin. Taste is semi-sweet with tons of bitterness. Could use a touch of sweetness for some balance. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. Not bad, but it seems like another over-hopped Moylan’s beer.

Bomber pours brilliantly clear copper with solid half inch plank of tan head. The aroma tosses up spicy hops and surprisingly bitter smelling floral hops too. Underneath the hops I only get a sense of sweetness that is likely maltiness. The taste enters smooth crisp with hops and full bodied. I get a pleasing mix of spicy hops and floral hop bitterness where the flavor is leaning heavily on the bitter side. I think this is the most bitter floral hop type brew I’ve ever tried. I also get some pine resin and grassiness with faint yummy maltiness as well off in the background. Cool bitter brew that is scratching me right where I itch.

orange-golden/amber pour with quickly disappearing white head. light body. floral. light malty nose and floral hops. weirdly medicinal bitter initial taste along with resiny and floral hops . leaves you with A LITTLE spiciness and relatively quick finish. Definitely a good amount of hops but the journey not that satisfying

Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color. Medium frothy head. Aroma of pine hops and grain malt, grass. Medium bitter. Oily and stickier palate. Med body. Good balance of malt body and hops. Not so fresh. Sightly grassy and medicine like. Bitte finish. Ok.

22 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of rich piney hops, some tropical fruits and some caramel. Flavour of rich piney, buttery hops, with barely enough caramel malt backing. Lingering bitter, piney finish. The pine notes are delicious and make this bitter beast highly drinkable. Superb.
