3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nice fluffy white head on a clear darker orange yellow. Very bitter hops in the aroma with lots of grass and grapefruit, touch of maltiness but not much. Really a straight hop shot for the flavor, and much grassier than in the aroma but with pine touches as well. Medium body with nice bubbly carbonation. Good drinking IPA, and really quite bitter...which I enjoy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Translucent amber pour with a tall, foamy white head. Aroma is strong resinous hops. Big pine, grapefruit juice and wet hops in the nose. Taste is bitter hops - grapefruit juice, pine resins, wet hops - chewy caramel and floral notes. Body is medium with a moderate carbonation. Strong lingering bitterness and strong oiliness from the hops. It pretty much scrapes the enamel from your teeth. Ends with more pine, grapefruit, citrus resins, caramel and sweet malt.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy golden. Aroma is piney resin, hops and a little grapefruit. Taste is a well balanced, complex blend of resiny hops, citrus, and a little sweet malt to smooth out the finish. A quality IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: 22oz from mainbrew.com
Visual: Pours a bright and clear light amber with a frothy white and long lasting head and great lacing on the glass.
Nose: Fragrant citrusy hops with a mild malt aroma:
Palate: Clean, light to medium body and bitter, citrusy, herbal, and resinous hops. Minerals, and pretty darn smooth and round for an American IPA.
Conclusion: This is a great all around IPA. You just canít go wrong with a Moylanís, go get yourself some!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled on 1/22/2010. This India Pale Ale pours a medium copper orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, grapefruity and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy, perhaps a little herbal. Nice carbonation. It is most definitely a Northern California IPA. Lots of hop flavors and a lot of long lasting hop bitterness. Good carbonation. Nice IPA. Lots of bitterness and nice hops flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter and it last a good long time.

On tap at the Brillobox, this brewer hardly ever dissappoints. As advertised, plenty of aromatic and fragrant hops, golden color with a slight haze, there was no head in m y glass, clean and refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle. Clear golden orange with a thick, spotty, pure white head. Aroma of citrus, floral, grassy with a light cereal malt. Very bitter from beginning to end with a touch of malt, just for balance. Medium body with average carbonation and a dry, bitter finish. Pretty nice brew, very bitter and dry.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden body with a small and somewhat quick to fade, off-white head. Aromas of citrus, tangerine, kumquat, nuts, pine resin, and caramel. Flavors of earth, dirt, a bit of roasted malt, pine resin, and light citrus. Bitter finish. The hop flavor is subdued. Medium bubbles. Dry and astringent finish. Not my favorite IPA from these guys. Overall, NorCal can keep this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle - 22 oz) Orange pour with good carbonation and a frothy white head. Big citrus and floral hop aroma with some mild sweetness underneath. Flowery and very bitter at the start of the flavor with some mild citrus undertones that give way to a very bitter and very dry aftertaste. Very bitter on the finish. Almost too much so.
