3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle. Poured a dull light copper color with an off white head and a hint of lace. The initial burst of aroma is a flavorful rose scent quickly followed by a root vegetable hop scent. Flavors of raw vegetable and celery make up much of the hop body. This is a hoppy almost metallic IPA with a bitter ending.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A hazy honey gold pour with a one finger off white head. A toasty aroma with some nice citrus, pine, and caramel. This IPA is pretty much down the middle for style. Some nice tart and bitter hops that are well balanced by caramel. A bit of applesauce. There is nothing really exceptional here but it is a nice solid IPA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is obviously hoppy to the point of being garrish. There’s no question upon taking a wiff of this brew that it is an IPA, but there is nothing more to it when you take that first sip. The taste is acceptable and clean, but beholds no surprises or anything special. The bitterness of the hops tends to inhibit one’s overall enjoyment. The palate is plastered with hops for some time afterward, but fortunately it is not longlasting. For an IPA rated at 6.5% abv, this brew is enjoyable, but not over a great amount of time. One 22 ouncer is almost too much to endure, nevermind having a second. While Goose Island’s IPA or Ska’s Modus Hoperandi can be enjoyed until the six-pack is gone, this one has run its course by the bottom of the first big bottle. For someone not versed in IPA’s, this one is a good intermediate.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a smaller creamy/bubbly off white head that left lacing. Aroma of wonderful floral and orange hop notes, some fruity American yeast notes and a touch of caramel. Flavor of resiny hops, grapefruit, some floral notes. A very light bready malt quality. A little bit on the thin side, very dry.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nose of toasted malts, light caramel, strong fresh earthy hop notes with hints of citrus and dank. Pours dark golden with a thin non lasting head. The flavor starts toasty with strong earthy fresh hop bitterness finishing with light caramel and long lasting fresh hoppy flavors and bitterness. Dry finish. Good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Pours a yellow gold with a slight amber tint to it. Right off the pour, the head isn’t all that big,but a 1/8 inch white film sits atop the entire session.
Aroma: Grapefruit and lemon essence.
Taste: Aggressive piny hops, spicy dry malt, minute hints of grapefruit.
Mouthfeel: Astringent, tongue curling, and prickly.
Overall: A solid, dry spicy rendition of a west cost IPA. Very drinkable, and would be paired well with a spicy dish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Way bitter. Pale in the glass. Bitterness grossly overshadows the hoppyness. Next to their hopsickle this is out of balance. Bitterness over hops. Lingering bitter too. A lot of hops when into this but at the wrong time.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at the brewery. Dark golden pour with moderately laced white head. Earthy hop nose with grapefruit. Taste us a hop celebration; floral, citrus, and then bitter. Enough malt to hold it all together. Good palate. A very nice and fragrant ipa.
