3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, some resin, wood and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is strong fruity and floral bitterness along with some acidic wood as well as some mild malts. A bit too much hops for my taste.

650ml brown bottle. Hazy, deep gold. Fat and creamy white head. Lacing is good. Nose has grapefruit/ citrus notes. Taste has light grain sweetness, big mix of hops on top - spicy, resiny, pine. Grapefruit in aftertaste with pine, resins and herbal and slightly earthy notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Good hop intensity, nice lasting bitterness, would drink this anytime.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Well we got a bleeder, stuff is all over my counter. Must have gotten shaken up in transit. Lots of white frothy head, cloudy orange pour, sweet citrus notes, hoppy. On to the taste, not overly overly bitter but it for sure lingers has a nice punch, hits of grapefruit, some sweetness, smooth and very crisp. Very enjoyable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange-gold with a large stable white head. Flavor: Malt, immediately followed up by a sharp herbal hop bitterness. Palate: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and long very bitter finish. Overall: A bit too bitter. Out of balance - needs more malt and more body. Drinkable, but I would not buy another.

Flaske: Orangegul meget let diset øl med et fint lille skumhoved. Duften er citrus og fyrretræ. Smagen er frisk fyrretræ, god mundfylde med en forfriskende bitterhed. Lige i skabet og god øl.

Bottle, shared with Smitty. Orange-tinted gold, crowned by a peaky white cap. Piney hop aroma, slightly herbal. Oily hoppy body, lots of pine, pungent and slightly earthy. Very bitter finish of long length. Excellent.

Plain and simple a great example of exactly what it is - a NorCal IPA. Piney, grapefruity, bitter, and malted just enough to back it all. Good stuff.
